    you should get a warranty just in case
    i heard online that these only last a year so got a warranty on it just to be safe hopefully i dont need it

    Avoid these drives
    Be careful when purchasing this. I registered mine on the Seagate website and the manufacturers warranty is void. They told me that the drives were pulled from external hard drives and that voided the warranty. I had actually purchased the extended warranty thinking it would extend the manufacturers warranty, guess I was wrong.
