So comfortable!
Wow! This chair is so unbelievably comfortable. Most chairs I've owned had a comfortable seat but the back wouldn't be thick. This one is comfortable EVERYWHERE! It has all the stuff most office chairs have like the raising/lowering & tilting. I raised it up as high as it would go and then lowered it and I literally bounced in the seat! Not from the chair but from the cushion, that's how much padding is in the seat. Another small detail Serta included that I appreciate is the tool you use to put it together( Allen wrench) has a handle so it's much easier to tighten screws with than the normal ones. Some measurements are, Arm rest are 21" apart on the inside and 26" apart on the outside. From the floor to the top of seat on low setting is 20-1/2"inches tall and 23-1/4" inches tall on high setting. Arm height from floor is 27" on low and 29-3/4" on high.

Soft but not as comfortable as I hoped
I wanted to be fair when writing this review, so I waited until everyone had used this chair many times. Let me begin by saying, it's a major plus when assembly is easy and you have everything needed in the box. Absolutely a winner. After assembly is where I'm on the fence. The chair itself is nice, cushioning is great, very supportive. The handles for raising/ lowering, and reclining the back never worked for me. Never. My husband did get the seat to raise/lower, but he couldn't get the back to recline either. When I sit in the chair I always feel like I'm perched forward, not very comfortable. However, he loves this chair and it is now in his tool/unfinished projects cave. I reluctantly recommend this chair. The padding in the seat and back areas are extremely comfortable. The mechanics of raising/lowering and reclining are a bit off. Maybe they have made improvements, if yes....then this would be a great chair.

    Fine for the price, comfortable and no scratches, but clearly subpar manufacturing of the internal bolts as the back secures at an angle and the left bottom bolt sticks out like 2 cm not flush at all.

    Great chair no matter your size.
    Overall, a wonderful chair and I highly recommend it. Putting the chair together was very easy in comparison to others I have assembled. It took only one person and quick and easy to follow instructions. The wheels move around quietly and smooth. The height of the chair back is perfect if you are tall and the depth of the seat makes sitting in it very comfortable. There is plenty of room if you have wider hips or legs and the arm rests aren't digging into your thigh. The material is very soft and is holding up very well over time. As a larger person, I can say that the cushion is made very well to support plenty of weight. If you are not a tall person, the chair is still for you because the height is adjustable as well. The back support is amazing. It really gives you the luxury feel without the large price tag. The head rest is a bit far back for me to use comfortably but that is an issue with every chair I have used. The lean is just right and the handles to adjust the height and lock the chair in place are very well made and easy to use. The chair is designed for big and tall but I would recommend to anyone looking to work in comfort and style.

    I absolutely love this chair! It is by far the most comfortable office chair I have ever sat in! I love the fact it's leather! It's super cool (temperature wise too) but does not have me sticking to it which living in the south is an awesome thing. It has amazing cushions to make sure you're comfortable on both top and the armrests! It's incredibly easy to adjust the height and the recline— with just the flip of a lever! When you do adjust the height up or down it doesn't snap up quickly it does it gradually. It was super easy to put together just a Phillips screwdriver! It also looks very professional!

    Wow, comfy chair
    Assembly was about as expected, nothing crazy. We love the handled allen wrench!! This is a sturdy chair, the base is solid. Good quality wheels. Supportive cushions. The faux bonded leather has a soft, buttery feel. I believe it is bonded leather on the seating surfaces and regular vinyl on the back side, but it all blends fine and looks top notch. I was worried this would be a ginormous chair, being labeled "Big & Tall". My husband is 5'11" and around 200 lbs (shown in photo) so not necessarily "big and tall" but he wanted a chair which would seat him up a little higher than his old one, and this does. But it doesn't feel overly big for him or swallow him up so that's good. And nice to know it has a 400-lb weight limit for sturdiness. A few reviewers complained that the recline feature was too stiff and they couldn't push the seat back to lean. However there is a turning knob under the chair that changes the "tension" or resistance of the seat back. You can also lock the recline feature so it doesn't go back at all, using the height adjustment lever on the side.

    Comfortable and Classy
    This chair was so easy to assemble. My 12 year old and I put it together in about 20 minutes; the instructions were quite easy to understand. This chair looks very classy thanks to the modern black and chrome color scheme. It's got a very tall back and a wide seat making it accommodating for just about anyone! This is honestly the most comfortable office chair I have ever sat in; it's like a recliner/office chair hybrid. My son has been sitting in it while he plays Xbox and he actually fell asleep in it twice. I did find it extremely easy to clean with just a damp cloth. I dont have one negative thing to say; this chair exceeded my expectations and then some!

    Just what I needed!
    Working from home it is imperative that you have a great chair. Unfortunately, I spent well over a year getting out of my seat limping, and I genuinely thought that sitting all day was the problem until I received this chair. This was absolutely a life saver! It is as comfortable as a recliner, and easy to clean. Serta didn't disappoint.

    Sturdy and mostly comfortable
    This is a very nice, luxe office chair. My last chair was falling apart and was a cloth covered chair, so this is a huge improvement. I'm not any taller (or shorter) than average but I do need a chair that supports my weight and this chair is very strong and sturdy. I have it on the lowest height setting right now and it's still just a bit too high for me, so I wish that it could be set just a little bit lower, but that's not a huge deal. Also there is a metallic part of the arms, between the padded armrests and the seat, that digs into the sides of my legs so when I sit for a long time they leave marks on my legs and it can hurt a bit, but I will pad them somehow to get around that. The chair seat is so soft and comfortable, and the back is padded and has great lumbar support. It's easy to adjust the height and it swivels and rolls perfectly. Nothing about it looks or feels cheap or flimsy. It looks and feels solid and very well made. I do love this chair, I just hope that the manufacturer will read this and maybe redesign it somehow so that part of the arms doesn't dig into anyone's legs.

    The Serta Big & Tall Office Chair with Memory Foam is a really nice chair, great for working or doing school from home. Took about 20 minutes to put together, it was really easy and self explanatory, although directions come with it. The hardware is really well made, quality not cheap. Even the Allen wrench that came with it is super nice! The leather is easy to wipe down clean. It's soft and squishy but also very supportive on your back. The back of the chair is tall and it can take up to 400 lbs. my husband is 6' 240lbs and can sit really comfortably in this. It reclines back, and goes up and down in height with a lock to keep it in place. This looks like a really expensive office chair. I received free in exchange for an honest review, and I have to say I absolutely love it.

    Very comfortable
    Serta Big & Tall Office Chair with Memory Foam is super comfortable! I got it in black. Great material it is bonded leather with nice arm rests. So it is super easy to clean and lasts forever. Chrome metal is on the bottom and on the arm rests. Wheels pop right into place. Comes with a tool and the hard ware, screws and pop on covers for over the screws which gives it a clean look. It was easy a setup. My boyfriend was here to help me set it up so we had 2 people. But it could be set up with just one person. Very easy to read and follow along instructions and it does come with a paper to scan for video instructions. It has 2 paddle handles on the underneath for adjusting the seat. One moves the seat up and down. The other allows it to tilt back. When switched it does not allow it to tilt. This chair is great for your backs for either long sitting or just a few minutes. The seat is Soft and forms around you. With a tall back and a head rest that does not push your head out like others. Defiantly worth it to get it. Looks beautiful in every home.
