Combo came with 4lbs test on it. First time I used it the line broke multiple times. I recommend putting new line on right away if you get this. Reel is kinda cheap but for the price you get what you pay for! The rod is pretty nice.

    Very nice combo and great price!
    For the price I'm impressed! I bought this combo as a back up and have used it as much as my more expensive setups. Many slab crappie have been boated and I am sure many more will be.

    a bit disappointed
    The line it comes with is of poor quality. Its not a very nice pole. It was only $20 but it wasn't a good buy even at tat price point.
