Needs more power/More Work
Not great for coarse pet hair. I had to pre-run, run and then run again to clean up pet hair on my area rug and that is where the problem started! First, the robot is not powerful enough to get over the area rug threshold and got stuck all the time. I took it as I needed to tape down the edges of the rug and that just made it worse. Compared to the Roomba S9, this has very poor performance and power in my unprofessional opinion. Plus note, the Auto Empty worked great! And the app is a little more user friendly than Roomba.

    Great vacuum
I got this a few weeks ago and it took me a few tries to get the app to sync, but it has been great! It has options on the app to set a timer to vacuum at a different time, or same time every day. If there's a mess, you can pull up the app and send it to one specific room immediately. If you have long hair, be prepared to clean the undercarriage and wheels at least once or twice as it picks up. It isn't that hard to do. I love that it is self emptying and you just pop the little trash cartridge out and empty it. This has helped with the dust in the air as well, because if it doesn't build up on the floor then it doesn't rise into the air… the dust that is.

    Loved it
I loved it . I had get instructions from YouTube. I read them repeatedly didn't get it . After watching. I understood. I used in my living room, bedrooms . Each room looks good . Loved it went under things .and it I didn't have to get unstuck. That was cool . I was get excited talking to it . Lol My bf say your lazy. I say no . It gives me break on that part cleaning lol I even told my family, friends, teacher, people I know . I even show my mom, my son . He thought was cool . If price was cheaper I think you would get more customers. The outside box was ok .you more color instead black n white . I don't like it don't pick up bigger items like paper, etc

    Pretty good!
So I have a roomba and I just got this one. I feel like the roomba's suction is better but the sharks pattern around the room is WAY better. It goes in straight lines and if it gets off track you can watch it readjust. But I really love that it empties into the holder and I don't have to empty it everytime. And I can start and stop it from my phone, huge plus

    Meet Bert!
Wondering who's Bert? Believe it or not, you get to name your robot! We landed on Bert! I admit... I'm having way too much fun with this product! You can operate this using the app or by pushing the buttons on the front of the robot. I have been using the app. Bert's gotten stuck a couple of times and I've received notification on my phone. I couldn't find him! I click the find robot option on the app and a beep (loud enough to hear) dings so I can find him! I was worried how my dog would feel about this robot vacuum. He was just laying on the floor, Bert (the vacuum) came up, bumped him but not in a painful way, and kept on moving on. Perfect! Bert (the vacuum) did get an error #2 which means something was on the underside. I could not find it! I looked and looked and was about to be mad at Bert! lol But I found it... a long lost fabric softener sheet that was underneath my dresser! I never knew it was there, but the vacuum found it! Also, this vacuum is able to get under cabinets and spaces that normally don't get the attention needed with a standard upright vacuum. I'm impressed with the amount of "stuff" it picks up! As a regular vacuum in this house, we now know we have been missing items that we could have got!

    Mommy approved.
The shark ez robot vacuum is amazing. The look on the vaccum makes it look super futuristic. The fact that you can tell it what to do from your phone is wonderful and super easy. The only part I did not like was that the app did take a while to connect with the robot. But once it connected it worked wonders. It does self empty itself out which is a big plus for us working moms. Must have for any new house owners or anyone in general that loves to to keep their house clean. The robot gets a map of your house first so it knows where it is going and what it needs to do based on the camera it has on the top of it.

    So many amazing features
Okay I'll start with all the positives: is not loud at all compared to other robot vacuums. Self empties. Bagless. Easy to empty bin. Returns to base. Never have to go looking for it. Does not ram into furniture. Only negative I could complain about is I wish they made the base station mat hardwood floor compatible. I also forgot to mention the boundary tape works wonders. Love love love. Five stars Shark!.

Durable, easy to set up and decent job of cleaning
So far this Shark Robot Vacuum has been a welcome addition to our home. Setup was easy: we connected it to wifi, gave it a name (Jaws), and it was off to the races. Build quality and materials seem very nice; my initial impression is that it will be fairly durable. The app is quite user friendly. I love that we can start the vacuum when we're out of the house, so the floors can be nice and clean when we get home. I also enjoy the ability to schedule the vac to run at night before bed, or while we're out of the house during the day. It's not silent, but it's definitely not loud either. If we were to run it in the middle of the night or super early, I imagine it might wake us up, but we honestly haven't done that yet. Can be controlled manually using buttons located on the top of the machine. The vacuum does a very thorough job. I love how it path-finds, and manages to reach every nook and cranny it can possibly fit in. It will occasionally flip the corner of a rug up, but rolls over it with ease and then usually flips it back over on the next pass. The floors look great after it's done. If we were able to run it every night, I'm sure it would do an excellent job of maintaining the floors in a worry and work-free way. The self-Empty feature is fun and new to us. The Shark empties after every run into the bin attached to the charging base. The bin can hold quite a bit of debris, we empty it about every 4 or 5 runs. However, this brings me to the only real con we've discovered so far. Given that we have a 6 and a 2 year old, our living room stays fairly cluttered. The vacuum does a decent job of pushing things out of the way, but it does tend to get angry when coming across a stray Lego of a particular size, or across a doll's long hair. It does a great job of stopping itself and giving us an alert, avoiding any major damage. However, because of our "realistic" living style, we know toys will be left out, and of course they tend to hide in one of the previously mentioned crevices that the Shark is so adept at finding and cleaning. Having a daily schedule doesn't really make sense for our family at this time, but as our children get older (and hopefully less messy), that will change. In summary: the Shark Robot Vacuum is a wonderful tool for the arsenal; it should definitely be considered a worthy addition to assist in cleaning the home.

    Fails when encountering rugs
We have been using this IQ for about 3 months. EVERYDAY it will get stuck at various locations when going from hardwood to a rug. The throw rugs are not very thick but the IQ fails to continue when it gets to certain transitions.

    Great for basic cleaning!
This robot is fantastic for getting the majority of the debris around your house daily. However, you will need an upright to really deep clean the carpets (such as Shark's own Vertex). This little guy was very easy to setup and he was out cleaning within 30 minutes. I love that the self empty bin is bag less! No need to hassle with changing out bags. I recommend, as I read from the reviews here, to run the vacuum on Eco the first few times to get a good map of your home. And yes, leave the lights on, it really does help. I have a map of my downstairs, but I do bring the robot upstairs to clean as well, and I haven't encountered any issues (note that you must control the robot via the buttons on top not via the app when it's not on the same level as the dock). The anti-tangle brushroll has been great so far to avoid the nasty hairwrap. Also, when I empty the dustbin there's a decent amount of dust in there so the brushroll must be engaging the carpet as well. I like that the side brushes spin at a slow rate to avoid scattering debris. The only thing I would say is perhaps make them a bit longer to really get into corners, especially on hard floors. The robot has had no issues locating the dock when complete or running low on battery. My home is smaller than 1,000 sq feet so as per Shark I have turned off recharge and resume and empty and resume as well and the robot does the entire first level without any issues. The robot can be determined to climb thresholds so be mindful of that. I'm very happy with this product and would highly recommend to others. I send out the robot daily and feel it does a decent enough job that I'm happy with it. Usually I would personally vacuum the entire house almost daily with an upright, now I do that just once a week.

    New Revolution
I was very skeptical about this robot to clean my house. I really didn't think it would do that great and though I would have to go behind it and get the rest of the stuff that it couldn't get. The vacuum can do either bare or carpet floors. I have 3 husky dogs and they shed like crazy. Shark Vac does an amazing job at picking up their fur. There are some minor flaws (as with every robot or new technology out there); however, I am overall please with it's performance. I don't get many problems out of it. The app is a little difficult but vacuum does what I need it to do. Setup was super easy. If there is a problem with the vacuum it tells you were to look to fix the problem. This is like the best vacuum ever. I recommend it to everyone.
