As a lady who has had one or more Roombas for the last 20 years, I was hesitant to get a Shark. I found this one for about 1/2 price so I gave it a try…. I am so impressed by this machine, I will never go back to a Roomba!!! Not only is this machine so much quieter, it is more efficient! I love the self emptying feature! I am not ready to get rid of my Roomba (Betty) as she is still working just fine. However, (Harold) the Shark makes her look like a lost kid in an amusement park, bouncing from place to place. Harold is more like an old man on a stroll, pacing back and forth, waiting for his crazy partner Betty. ? Totally worth the price! Make the change ladies! You won't regret it!!!

Wanted to love…
I wanted to LOVE this vacuum. But like other reviews, it didn't map my house, would spin in circles for no reason, I'd “send to dock” and it wouldn't go. It would pause on its own for no reason. I'm super bummed.

    Very happy with this vacuum…it empties itself then resumes…docks itself when done , cleans its brush too! ?????? You can connect to your devices too! Recommend

    Too many models with the same name!
    I have been using Shark vacuums for years, they are the best for pet fur. I loved my former Shark RV1000AE robot vac, and thought I was ordering another, but the shark I received, which is also RV1000AE, has just one brush in the center, not two side brushes, and misses dirt around the perimeters and corners. My old RV1000AE sucked up every piece of cat litter, but this single brush model shoots them around the house. I've been trying my best to make it work, but think I will have to return it. I don't understand why they keep messing with a good thing.

    Avoid this product. Waste of Money.
    This vacuum is awful. I ordered it and used it one time before it started throwing up error codes that were not in the manual. When I contacted Shark they told me they would send a new body portion for the bottom, but I would have to remove all other parts from the unit and install them on the new body. They would not replace the full unit because it was new. It also only cleaned a portion of my house and would pause itself numerous times, disconnect from WiFi right next to my router, or just spin in one place with no obstacles around it until it died. 10/10 would not recommend. I returned the product and purchased a Eufy L30 Hybrid and I've been much more satisfied with the results.

    Pick a different vacuum.
    We’ve had the shark for 3 months now. Very rarely do I come downstairs and find it’s complicated a full run. I’ve even got it set to return and empty and go again. The robot will run and just stop. Blue battery and clean light are lit but nothing. It also randomly deletes the map to make a new one, most the time it’s not even close to correct. This is a smart vacuum, my dumb roomba had less issues. Nothing shows on the history calendar.

    Bought this as a Christmas gift for myself and my girlfriend. We have 2 dogs in an apartment and thought this would be a great way to save time on cleaning up all the dog hair. We're 1 month in and my dislikes about the product are it ALWAYS gets stuck on our rug and then we have to get up and move it somewhere else which messes up the vacuum's ability to properly design a map of the home. We've used it pretty everyday since we got it and the map looks like whats in my photo

    This thing works great!
    This thing is awesome, it maps out the house, remembers where it misses, and hits all the places it can! we have multiple pets, and children in our home, so cleaning is a big task. This little bot has taken some of that load off of us. It even remembered where a little ramp we made with a rug for a slight drop off in our den was so it can go in and out easily. Connecting to Wifi and using the app is a must. We can now turn it on and set it loose and it cleans multiple rooms while we watch TV or spend time together! We also opted for a 3 year warranty to avoid stress if it breaks.

    JUNK DO NOT BUY! WAY OVER PRICED FOR HOW IT WORKS.
    This thing is junk. It wanders around the house like it is drunk, there is no "learning the room layout", there is no vacuuming in rows. IT DOESN'T LEARN! After it drew all my rooms on its map, and you tell it to clean a certain room it usually can't find it! It will run forward and randomly stop, spin around a few times then head off in another direction. If it hits an obstacle it may spend ten minutes trying to find a way around it.... or it may just stop as cry for help. Chair legs really screw it up. IT HAS NEVER DONE A GOOD OR COMPLETE JOB OF CLEANING ANY ROOM IT CONSTANTLY MISSES ENTIRE AREAS. It plugs easily which stops it. You have to pick it up and clean it out. ( You better put it back down exactly how and where you found it or it will be lost.) If it sucks up a tiny Leggo or a small piece of paper it will stop and wait for you to clean it out. I have a big house but I wouldn't even think of letting it into the bedrooms. Even though the bathroom was never "mapped" into the system I have to keep the door shut since it will try to vacuum it. This thing will spend hours doing what I could of done a better job of by hand in 20 minutes. If it wasn't a gift I would return it.. I still might, cost way to much to not use it. WISH I COULD RATE IT LESS THAN 1 STAR.
