Nice small alarm clock (battery operated only)
I recently received the Sharp battery operated alarm clock (soft mint green color). Love the color as it matches my décor. The size is quite small about 3”x 3” (see picture of size compared to a soda can), but I didn't really want anything bigger. This little clock takes one AA battery which is NOT included with the purchase. It does have everything I want on my alarm clock. The face of the clock is white with the numbers being a matching green to the clock. Numbers are easy to read. The hands of the clock are black with small areas on the hands that are “glow in the dark”. The device is set up in the back like most clocks of this type. There are two knobs in the back; one for setting the time and the other for setting the alarm time. Toward the side of the back is a switch that moves up and down to set the alarm off and on. One nice feature is the snooze button located on top of the clock. The alarm sound can be stopped and repeated every four minutes each time you hit the snooze. Also, if you hold the snooze button down, it illuminates the dial of the clock…nice! The other nice feature is the alarm's sound gets louder the longer you sleep and don't hit the snooze or don't turn the alarm off. I'm very pleased with this alarm clock.

Just inspect it before you toss the box.
Firs off it's cute. My light worked. One AA battery and I was ready to go. The time was super easy to set and I thought I was good. I didn't set my alarm the first couple uses so the box got tossed. Well now I am stuck. The alarm knob on the back of mine is off center (*will add photo) so it makes it a little more difficult to set than a sleepy me wants to fool with. (I can't get to the knob to turn it) It's also a little louder than I expected. However I haven't had an actual clock (and not a phone) by my bed in years. So it might just be me being sensitive to the second hand clicking. I also know you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap clock… you get one. Just keep the box if you go this route and make sure you can exchange it if the knob if off center.

    Small and Sharp Alarm Clock
    So many great features in a small package. This Quartz Analog alarm clock has a large dial for easy reading, a gentle ascending alarm that does not startle you, a convenient backlight at the press of a finger on top and requires only one "AA" battery (not included). Best and dependable little clock, 3 1/8" wide by 3 1/2 " high. Accurate in keeping time and has never failed to work properly.

    Works great for grandpa!
    This sharp quartz analog alarm clock works great for my grandfather! He can see it even when the lights are dim and he is awake at night. The sounds gets louder and he wakes easily with it. He especially likes it though because the numbers are bigger and he can easily read the time off the analog clock. It's a nice small size as well and fits on the bed frame or the nightstand which is convenient so he can have it in arms reach while only needing one hand to handle it. It's also great because it only requires 1 AA battery, unfortunately it isn't included though. Overall, I would recommend. This would also be great for a child learning the analog clock!

    Compact, Power-Outage Resistant, No Night Light
    This alarm clock is small and very efficient, requiring only 1 AA battery. If you're trying to minimize lights at night while you sleep, this is perfect as it's not producing light. If you need to see the time at night, you simply press the snooze button on the top. The alarm itself is enough to wake you but not so obnoxious that you're immediately irritated. It will get progressively louder if you don't turn it off. All in all, an excellent alarm clock and well worth the piece of mind if you live in an area where power outages occur.

    Perfect Size For Traveling!!
    Great little clock! The Sharp Quartz Analog Alarm Clock is lightweight and portable. I like the easy to read clock face and the simple style. Very easy to set the time and requires only one "AA" battery. The Alarm sound is loud and clear. I really like how the sound gets louder the longer it rings. I had no trouble waking up to this alarm. I also like the snooze and backlight features. Perfect size for traveling. Reliable and durable. Love it!!

    I got this for our RV, as you know anything with a plug is going to pull from your batteries so perfect solution, analog clock. 1 battery (AA) and you are ready to go. Knobs are easy to use to set the time and alarm. The actual alarm is not the typical loud annoying but starts low & then steadily increases. This would actually make a perfect addition to your guest room as well. No worries about obtrusive glow if they want to sleep in takes up minimal space and they have the option to use the alarm if they want a wake up, or back up to a cell phone alarm.

    Love the retro but no glow in the dark
    I love the look of this little retro waker upper! Simple to use. Compact. Would travel well. I use it everyday. Like the face light feature... press the snooze/light button on top for back light. Knobs on back are a bit challenging for bigger fingers but doable. A simple switch to turn alarm on/off on rear of clock. It's great for anywhere you want an unobtrusive clock with a face and hands! I put my clock in the sun for several hours to light up the glow-in-the-dark hands but could barely see a glow in a dark room and it wasn't long before the glow disappeared altogether. Personally, I don't need that feature. When I can't sleep I don't want to look over and see what time it is.

    Perfect for travel or bedside
    I actually got this clock to use at my bedside since I no longer need an alarm to get up in the morning, but the function is available if I need it. The typical LED clocks for a bedside were just to bright for me since I like to sleep with the room very dark. If I need to see the time in the middle of the night I can just press the snooze button which turns on a small light to illuminate the clock. The alarm is so nice, it starts out somewhat quiet for a bit, then increases in volume and intensity and will not stop till the snooze is pressed or the switch on the back is turned to off. This clock uses one double A battery (not included) so it is also very lightweight as well. Perfect little clock for any area you don't have an outlet available. I included photos of the back of this clock so you would see how simple and easy this clock is to use.

    Nice Clock
    I received the Sharp Mint QA Alarm Clock and it is nice. The alarm clock has a nice sleek design. The alarm clock is also very compact and will fit any small space. I like that is a clock in an analog version, you don't find as many these days. I also like the backlight feature when turning the alarm off. This clock is battery operated. Another great feature is the alarm gets progressively louder the longer you let it go. There's no way you won't hear this alarm. The alarm goes for 4 minutes before it shuts itself off. This is such a throwback to my childhood alarm. I really enjoy using this alarm and also traveling with it. I would recommend this alarm clock to anyone looking for cute yet reasonable proceed alarm clock, it's well worth it.
