Back up Alarm Clock
If your hearing is not so good the alarm on this clock is LOUD. I like to listen to the ticking sound as its rhythm Tick Tock helps to fall asleep. All the controls are easy to understand and are located in the back of the clock. It takes one AA battery. The hands do not glow in the dark. This type of clock is good to have as a back up for when the power goes out OR you live in a state that turns your power off because the wind is blowing

Cute old fashioned clock
I have very mixed feelings about this clock. This is a cute old fashioned clock for the price. It feels kind of cheap but it looks nice and works well. This clock is old school - you can't set the alarm or time as accurately as a digital clock so don't expect perfection. This clock is more for the look of it that an alarm clock I would rely on daily. Although when I travel, I have a hard time sleeping with a glowing alarm clock in the room and this clock would come in quite handy for travel. The tiny light that lights up the face in the dark is rather difficult to find in the dark without fearing that you will accidentally change the time or alarm setting when you're fumbling around with the buttons and knobs on the back. The alarm sound is sufficiently loud to wake me but not overly loud like these types of clocks were back when I was a teenager and needed SUPER loud to wake me. It is a nice nostalgic feeling clock and looks great in my guest room but will never be as functionally nice as a digital clock.

    This alarm clock is great. I like it because it runs off batteries so you never have to worry that an unexpected power outage will cause your alarm to not go off. This clock is simple and well made.

    So Loud!
    The Twin Bell with Metal Bells and Case by Sharp is perfect for your morning wake up calls. Be warned, the twin bells are loud! This is exactly what I need in order to wake up for work every day since I am a very, very heavy sleeper. I honestly sleep through just about every noise you can think of, but this alarm clock actually does the trick for me. It wakes me up, every single time. I really like the shiny black color of the clock, along with the big, bold, thick numbers on the dial. This makes it so easy to read the time, especially in the morning, when my eyes are not adjusted and not working all that well just yet. Another helpful feature is the button on the back that you can push and it lights up the dial. This, and the glow in the dark clock hands, make it very convenient if you are trying to read the time in the dark. This clock is battery operated, so do not forget to change those out - otherwise your boss might be a little angry on the day you do not make it to work in time! The clock does not come with a AA battery, so might as well just pick a bunch up right away so that you have spares. I would highly recommend this little cute, vintage looking alarm clock.

The bells remind me of wind chimes when they ring, not the old clamoring annoying sound of yore. There’s an overall kind of Mickey Mouse ethereal feel and esthetic that takes you back to childhood. I can actually see what time it is across the room, unlike a digital clock. If you like a little edge and funky feels to your decor, I think you’ll be pleased with this one. You could actually travel with it, but I’d be afraid of harming those adorable “mouse ears”.

    The Perfect Alarm Clock
    This Sharp Black Twin Bell is the perfect alarm clock for me, it keeps time very well and the alarm is gentle and will wake you up but not scare you. I would recommend this clock to anyone who like a nice small clock to fit next to your bed and has a gentle alarm, it will for sure wake you up but it won't scare you. It runs on 2 AA batteries, and it has a light for night time viewing, very easy to set, on and off switch for the alarm, you can't go wrong with this alarm clock, so hurry out to purchase one.

    Definitely will wake up anyone. I totally love it. The clock is super cute giving this lovely classic/vintage look. Nice in any bedroom stand table. Let me tell you , the alarm is durable and loud. Not annoying for me, I definitely can get used to. My son can even hear it in the next room so now we wake up at the same time. This is just a fun way to wake up. Oh, cannot forget it also has a light bottom in case the room is dark and you want to see the time. Setting up the alarm is extremely easy and turning it off too. Great device to use, the cellphone alarm was not working for me anymore. The quality and material is also good.

    Old School Type Clock
    I really love the design and appearance of this clock. Old school design and ease of use. Not like my digital alarm clock/radio where in order to set the alarm it takes about 4 different steps to set the alarm. With this great clock just turn the alarm dial to the desired wake up time, flick on switch and you are good to go. Also battery powered so no forgetting to wind it up and this also eliminates the ticking. I really like this clock and it looks good on my nightstand.

    Decorative and LOUD
    This is a really attractive alarm clock. Has that classic look, very simple and sleek. I feel like it could easily go with any decor, in a bedroom, or office. It takes one AA battery (not included) and is easily set with one knob on the back. Setting the alarm is a bit confusing, but I eventually figured it out. I never had this type of alarm clock before, so a bit of a learning curve. The alarm is loud loud loud!! The little knocker slams back and forth off the bells for a really loud chiming sound. If you are a heavy sleeper or need to hear this from afar, you will have no issue. The button to tap for a light is a nice touch, as are the glow in the dark arms to easily see the clock on nightstand or dresser.

    I like this clock very much. It reminds me of days passed. With just a glance at it, I am in remembrance of my great grandpa! Born in 1889! He had a similarly styled clock that sat upon his mantle. This clock has big bold numbers. Makes it easy to read from a distance. It also features a seconds hand. Making it easier for me to teach my grandson how to tell time. I practiced telling time using my grands clock- new family tradition! The alarm bells are loud but easily silenced by flicking a switch. The glow-in-the-dark hour & minutes hand make it visual when the lights go out at bed time. A convenient button on the back of the clock illuminates the face brightly when the glow-in-the-dark feature ceases. Its sturdy, visually appealing and made by "Sharp". Oh, it runs on 1 AA battery. It doesn't need winding. I recommend this beauty.
