They are perfect for sewing and you need a lot of bobbins in the same color, But you can also use a case for embrodiery with different color back thread to make the embrodiery stand out

Pure junk!
I bought this today. Got it home all ready to organize my bobbins. Busted right off the bat - hinges came apart the first time I tried to open it! Walmart usually carries things that are a bit more durable. Very disappointing. Now I have to return it.

    Clear and capacious bobbin box
    This bobbin box has plenty to offer users. Singer products are always dependable and, since I use Singer clear plastic bobbins in my new (Singer!) sewing machine, I knew that this compact box would be ideal. I would give a 5-star rating except that the case arrived cracked. The product was shipped in a manila mailing envelope with air-bubble lining. There was nothing rigid, however, around the plastic box itself. Either weight or even jostling would have been enough to produce the crack. I would like to purchase a second case for my additional bobbins. The crack is not enough to put me off but will certainly not be acceptable if I decide to buy a bobbin box for a sewing friend. The packaging is colorful and easy to read. A clear plastic window opening on the packaging shows very clearly the layout of the bobbins: five rows of five bobbins each. Someone who sews for a living or even avidly for a hobby would find several of these boxes helpful in organizing bobbins. The layout allows each color to be seen easily. Even those who sew only occasionally might want to load up a full set of these bobbins with various colors (I always load 3-4 white and 3-4 black bobbins since I use those most often). This case allows one to have a full-loaded bobbin at the ready! Please note that your are ordering only the bobbin box. The bobbins and the thread are not part of this order.

    Worthless
    I'm sorry I had to give it one star. I purchased it to store my embroidery bobbins separate from my sewing bobbins. It is worthless junk. I tried to open it and use it and the hinges snapped right off. I have purchased Singer bobbins also and had some with pieces broken off. The broken pieces weren't even in the package. They had to have been packed already broken. I have tried to contact Singer but they don't respond. I don't like wasting money. Walmart should start to carry a different brand.

    great organizer
    Bobbins are held securely, yet easy to remove. Box is easy to transport. I quickly see my colors through the clear box. Tip: attach labels to each box to identify the type of thread (embroidery, cotton, all-purpose, etc.)

    Bobbin Storage Box? Well.........................
    Well not much to say is that it was shipped VERY fast to me. Easy to see what you have in the box. I plan on filling it up to save time. May buy another.
