Nice Machine!

    I haven't used it yet but I'm excited!! I just need to buy patterns and materials. The know Singer sewing machines have a great reputation. That and the color is why I chose this one. It's beautiful!! I'm so happy!!

    you get what you pay for
    the self threader quit working on day 1 and the tention doesn't qork right thread gets stuck and breaks even though its threaded right

    Singer is the best!!!
    This was a gift for my daughter in law for her birthday later in the month. It is a beautiful looking sewing machine (purple) and Singer is the best, so what more can I say. I always used a Singer back in the day and it is a very dependable name.

    I can't give a review. The sewing machine was for my daughter in-law that lives in Florida. I will say this, how could anyone go wrong with a Singer ? Isaac Merritt Singer invented the world's first practical sewing machine in 1850. Since 1851, the name SINGER® has been synonymous with sewing. This was the year of Isaac Singer's patent on the first practical sewing machine, making the official beginning of SINGER as a company and its leadership in the industry.

    As honest as I can be.
    I like it its a little noisy. It sews great. I got only because its was purple,but I really like it. Was surprise it does not come with a book that shows you how to operate. Just looked on line. Thank u for my purple machine.

    I like it for the price
    I bought this in the store so it would be easy to return if I didn't like it. I chose Singer because it is a good reliable brand. It is easy to set up with the instruction sheet that came with it. I like the drop in bobbin and the needle threader feature (I even used a non Singer needle and it still worked). It is easy to use and works fine. I don't need anything fancy. It's mainly for making dog booties, mending and altering. The two things I don't like about it is that it did not come with an owners manual. I did find one online, but it didn't contain anything about stitch needle selection. I tried to search their website for more information, but they are only interested in selling. Thankfully, I still have my owner's manual from my old Sears sewing machine that I can refer to for those things, the information is transferrable. The other thing I don't like is that it is made mostly of plastic. The foot pedal is very light cheap plastic. The bobbins, feet, spindle, many things that were steel on my old Sears machine are plastic on this one. I know it will not hold up for 25 years like my old one. I am also not happy that the price dropped since I bought mine.
