First lace tie shows for our daughter (8 yes old)
We literally have a Skechers two blocks from our house but they didn't have my daughter's size in stock so we ordered online. Ordering online was easy and quick. Great first lace tie shoe. I like the subtle colors (e.g. not bright pink!) especially since my daughter's school has a uniform/dress code that doesn't allow it. Fit well and are affordable. This is probably our 10th pair of Skechers between our two daughters, so the downside is always the same: they wear out quickly (which is why they are so affordable). We've learned never to buy a size up like some people do to allow them to last longer because they wear out before they grow into them. Just get their current size, maybe a half size up if their close, and they'll be great.

Totally garbage, don't buy
I never bought shoes for my kids in Walmart. This is an absolutely unpleasant experience. The shoes look great, but with poor quality, as they only lasted for 2 months, and my kid isn't an athlete. Very disappointed.

    Good but could be better
    Second pair. Daughter says they're comfortable. Look good. Only problem is the hook and loop strips come apart from the strap they're attached to after normal use. Shoes are durable but outlast the straps. I used glue to reattach but this is unacceptable for this brand and for kids shoes that get heavy use daily. Only reason I purchased another pair is because Skechers is the only brand I can find in larger sizes with hook and loop instead of laces.

    Great shoes for a kid who is hard on shoes.
    I bought these for my daughter who loves the bright color. She tends to be very hard on shoes and can't be bothered to take the time to tie shoes with laces. These have held up really well and are really comfortable for her!
