The basket ball just went through my back board :(
The basket ball just went through my backboard. We have not used that much and the ball just went through it making a huge hole and multiple cracks. My daughter who really liked it when we installed it is not happy and we are not happy. I hope Spalding backs it up somehow.

    Great product, BUT……..
    Hi, I just recently purchased a backboard and rim combo set along with a U- turn lift system. While the products are amazing, I wanted to give you a 5 star rating, but I didn't because of the assembling was difficult and confusing. I spent over 7 hours putting everything together. There has to be a better way. Either more pieces need to already assembled or assigned a QR code with the instruction manual so it can be viewed online and zoomed in or add a link to a video of it being assembled. I love the finished product! The problem was finishing it…. I Just wanted to give you guys an honest opinion and review of my experience.

    You would think that something that has the opportunity to break during shipping would have more protection in the box. Nope showed up broken for the second time.

    Did great until cracked
    I have had the goal for two years and it has been more than adequate until yesterday when the ball cracked the backboard as other users have also noted.

    Great for a while until it cracked
    I bought this backboard a while ago and we got good use out of it but now that we are required to stay home more often, the boys are playing basketball more. It was unfortunate that after a bank shot, the backboard cracked as seen in the picture below. I will follow the above advice and send the pic the the warranty dept.

    Broke and was hardly used!
    We bought this for our 6 year old so he was really small when we first got it. He's now 8 and the basketball went right through the backboard.

    Bad descriptions but still a good hoop
    I bought this a month ago and it arrived in a scraped up box and it had some missing pieces. On the website, it had no description on what type of backboard it is and what it fits on . There was no bracket that came and we had to buy our own.

    Great Basketball Hoop
    I bought this hoop in May to mount on my garage and it has worked out great. My granddaughter and grandson have gotten a lot of use out of it already. Spalding hoop seems to be very well made. Very happy with this purchase!
