Great product to keep my guns secure and safe
Just be careful where you have it shipped to. It comes in a box the size of a refrigerator. It does require some assembly that should need two people to complete. I was able to put it together by myself but it was a bit difficult at times. Overall a great product especially for the price.

Gun cabinet arrived early, which was nice. Cabinet had been handled rough totally destroyed, did not have any shelves or door. They said they are sending a replacement. Should be here in 2 more days. We will see.

    Excellent Gun Cabinet
    Just received the new gun cabinet, love it. Sturdy, secure and looks great. Lots of options to customize the interior storage. Saw some reviews where others received a dented product, but mine came in perfect condition.

    VERY DISAPPOINTED
    the cabinet arrived severely damaged with dents in both side panel and top. Also the locked cabinet came without a key to open the door. VERY DISAPPOINTED. This cabinet box was taped all over and was definitely a returned item that they keep shipping out to customers hoping someone will keep it. I did return it and ordered another one. let's see how that works out.

    after having read some comments about this and other cabinets made by "Stack-on", arriving with dents.. I was mildly surprised to see that it came without any dents. my only real MAJOR complaint is that it came without keys!! I got the cabinet on my days off from work and wanted to start working on it ASAP.... sooooooooo I had to contact customer service and order the key.. two things... #1) they are NOT open on weekends... #2) you have to provide the RECEIPT in order for them to send you the key.... ... my question was..if I purchase the gun cabinet and I pick up the gun cabinet from Walmart... the KEYS should be attached/included with the cabinet!! I opened the box and found a thick plastic pouch that contained the screws (hardware) and other parts used to assemble the cabinet. I figured that the keys MUST be in this same pouch...NOT.... smh... when the company was open for business, I called and must have spoken to at least (3) three different people who told me that the keys are attached on the top of the cabinet when they are shipped... ok the top of the cardboard box in which the MY cabinet was contained in looked like it had been ripped open. so I'm thinking that the keys were stolen?... don't know... so I tell them this and I am told that they are shipped with the keys to Walmart warehouses and other store outlets and from there they have no control as to the keys... I asked why they don't just include them inside the thick plastic pouch that contains the screws and other smaller metal parts.. I really didn't get an answer. after going through my emails I managed to find the "on-line" order from Walmart showing proof that I made the purchase and I sent that to them.. I received a confirmation from "Stack-on" that my keys would be sent. The keys arrived a few days later.. in the meantime I've got this locked metal cabinet sitting in one of the rooms.. oh and BTW there is a yellow "sticker" adhered to the back of the cabinet that shows the "Key #" that is needed. whew... great cabinet... BUT how about making somewhat easier for the consumer "ME" to put this thing together...

    Ok quick access security cabinet.
    Not sure the looks do anything for the actually security, but if its gong to be someplace visible it is appealing. Though drawing attention to itself could be a bad thing. The inside is laid out well enough. Good quality steel and hefty enough to keep little hands out. I wish there was a bit more room to get things onto the side shelves though. I have it set up just like the stock photo, with rifles on the left and two “tactical” set up’s in the easy access center. Access to them is fast and easy enough, but the shelves on the right are a different story. There just isn’t enough room between the door width and the two full-length center supports. It hard to get things on and off the shelves that are more than say 4 inches wide. You have to seriously maneuver the Plano “Field boxes” into the shelves and fitting a full size ammo can is simply out of the question. The half size ammo cans work well enough though. Outside of it limitations it will serve its purpose as a quick assess gun cabinet with moderate security but quick access.

    Great product for the money
    If your looking for a cost effective way to store not only firearms but basic valued possession this is a great option. Set up time was about 30 mins with very little effort and tools. The amount of space and multiple set up options are sure to fit the basic needs of anyone looking to get started in basic home security. The quick access that you have to your firearms is unmatched no confusing codes or hand scans. Besides when your under stress what better that a simple turn of a key to access what you need to protect you and the ones you care for. I would recommend this product to all person. However, having said all this keep in mind this product is what it title a "SECURITY CABNET" it is not a safe. So if your looking for fire, water resistance or that next level of security for highly valued property and firearms there is no substitute for a good safe.

    I received my cabinet, but it had two dents along the long edge that runs parallel to the unhinged side of the door. The cabinet is as described, but it is not well protected for shipping. The cabinet comes in a box with only styrofoam at the corners. The sides, top, bottom, and corners are not protected. I returned the cabinet to my local store and ordered it again.... Received second cabinet also with similar damage. Headed to my local store to return that one too. Just a little more thought into the packaging and this cabinet would not get damaged in shipping, which seems to be the number one complaint... Someone at Walmart or stack-on knows these things keep getting damaged....

    Excellent product to meet basic secure storage
    Product is a basic metal cabinet with upgraded look. Good value for storage protection against access to firearms by minors but will not stop theft. The tactical option for AR/M4 was excellent way to store them. All metal interior was a negative so I installed indoor-outdoor carpet to interior to protect weapons finish cost was $25 for glue and carpet from Lowes.

    Great concept, room for improvement.
    Let me start with the pros. Sturdy cabinet, just as advertised, great instructions, good quality, great accessories, great starter cabinet for the average person wanting a little more security for their guns. Now for the cons... The two sides are a bit tight, both for guns and storage. You cannot lock the safe if you have a gun in the front left barrel rest, the mechanism will not fall into place as it hits your gun. If you have more than 2 tactical weapons you will have to make modifications for your weapons to fit, they will not fit along the sides as the pistol grip will not allow it. Again the sides are kind of tight. Even a shotgun is very tight when stored along the sides. Again a great, sturdy cabinet that will deter smash and grabbers. Not necessarily for a full tactical collection, or even as many guns as described.
