Awesome Shed, Assembles Perfectly, Excellent Value
My 15yo son and I assembled this shed without any difficulty. The shed arrived in two boxes; all parts were present (we even had some extra screws and bolts left over). An important point regarding dimensions: This shed is 8 feet WIDE and 7 feet DEEP. That is, when you're facing the front of the shed from the outside, it's wider than it is deep. This was important to me, as I needed to fit a lawn tractor in the shed (it fit, but with only 6 inches to spare). The key to assembling the shed is to START WITH A LEVEL BASE! If the base is not level, then the sides and/or roof panels and/or door panels will not fit together properly! Also, be sure to read the instructions DAYS before you plan to construct the shed -- they tell you how to build the foundation (not included with the shed!) and what parts you need (also not included) to attach the shed's floor panels (included!) to the foundation. Regarding the foundation: I used 8-foot 4x4s, and ran 3 of them width-wise across the base. I then cut a fourth 4x4 into two 4ft chunks, and put them underneath the locations of the wheels of my lawn tractor, to provide support when the tractor is parked in the shed for, like, 99.99% of the time. Overall, just follow the instructions -- they're reasonably clear. My 15yo son did all of the pre-assembly (doors and trusses and whatnot) while I did the site prep (to ensure a perfectly level base). Once we got to constructing the shed, it all went quickly and very smoothly. Proper site prep is everything. Don't skimp on the site prep! Once assembled, the shed is really quite nice. It looks great, it's sturdy as h3ll, and it has plenty of features. (I bought the "loft" shelf, which was $60 extra, but well worth it -- it provides a large storage area well up out of the way.) I need to see if I can purchase additional corner shelves, too. The floor fully supports my 48" John Deere lawn tractor -- no shifting or bowing whatsoever, even when moving it in or out. Attached pictures show the locations of the 4x4s, including the two shorter ones for under the tractor wheels; and also show the partially assembled shed (apologies for poor picture quality; I took that last picture at an angle (whoops) and it looks crooked, but it really isn't). If you're looking for a really nice, sturdy, inexpensive, easily assembled shed, I highly recommend this one.

Many Missing Parts
The shed arrived in two boxes as described. 90% of the hardware was missing. No instructions included. I was told to deal with the manufacturer, which I did. They were very responsive but being on the East coast it took 5 full working days to get parts. When the shed was almost complete we realized it was missing two door hinges and had no panes for the windows or skylights and no vent screens. Once again, I'm waiting for shipment and hoping it doesn't rain. It is hard to comprehend how an item could have so many missing parts. (Made in China) A previous Walmart order for Bistro set only had enough hardware to put together one chair. I will never buy any items in parts from Walmart again. For the record, it is a nice looking shed.

Went together fairly good. Had a lot of screws. Should have reinforcement on back. Back moves in and out too much. Did not like that packing list had lower price than on website.

    Not a happy camper!
This would have been a great item to have. Unfortunately, this item arrived at my home in large boxes. I was under the impression that it would arrive already built especially at that price.

Great shed for the price, easy to put together.
We moved a couple of years ago and downsized quite a bit. We quickly realized we needed more storage space so we looked into getting a shed. First we went to 1 big box home improvement store and found out that you can buy a shed and for a fee a company will come out and build it. We did not want to mess with building one so we did that. When we called the company to ask about the process they asked us if we had a base. We did not. Will this be on flat ground? No, its a slope. We were told that we would have to build the base, they only do the shed. Same with other big box store. So we figured if we would build the base then maybe a resin shed would be the easiest and then we wouldn't have to find anyone to come and do this. Also its a less permanent building so no need to deal with permits. After researching we decided on a Suncast because of the good reviews. We love this shed! It did take us about 2 full weekends to build the base since there was considerable slope and we wanted to do it right and we are in our 60s so breaks needed and all. Putting the shed together took a about 2 days but we only worked a couple of hours. It was very easy. Instructions were easy to follow. It did take both my husband and me to do it, but that was mainly because on the downside of the slope the roof is higher and ladders. To max out the storage ability and also to help stabilize it more, we framed out the inside of the shed with 2x4s which I attached to the shed with L brackets and each wall to the other. I used 4" lag screws to attach to the floor. Since the walls have a gap, this was pretty easy. We also put cross 2x4s at the top of the walls to stabilize and so we could put some plywood to store half of the back and top of the shed. I attached the gables to the cross 2x4s for added strength as well. This gave us ability to put up shelving as well. After all that, there was still a lot of room. After 1 year, we are still very happy. There have been no leaks or any wind damage and its still square. We don't get very high winds, but we are on a ridge. We bought this from Walmart because 1. It was the cheapest price and 2. They did free shipping. No one else was doing that. It came in 2 huge boxes and nothing was missing or damaged. We are very happy.

Glad I got this, happy with purchase thus far.
2 Heavy boxes. If delivered by freight liftgate, your driveway is as far as they will go, But I just carried the parts and panels 1 at a time to my backyard. A bunch of trips, about 20 but got everything to the building site. My flat, level 10' 6" x 8' 6" platform was already done. I took the instruction book inside that evening and read it thoroughly, familiarizing myself with the steps. The next morning I got started at 9 AM. Followed the steps in progression beginning with pre-assembly. I set up a work table with saw horses and plywood. Assembled the door windows, roof trusses, roof skylights. My only complaint is the plastic bosses where the screws go into should be about twice as big as they are. This is blow-molded plastic, you cannot maintain tight location tolerances. Makes these pieces a pain to align, but do-able. For screwing I used my 18V dewalt drill/driver WITH THE TOURQUE LIMIT ON 1 .5 MAXIMUM. Higher torque settings will result in the metal screw just tearing the plastic up. Again following the steps, taking breaks here and there and working totally alone I was done in 4 1/2 hours. I used 3/8 lag screws and washers into the floor knock outs and attached to the floor framing. Doors aligned and operate perfectly. Plenty of steel trusses and supports to give rigidity IMO. Nice shed. Holds my snow blower, Troy Built 30 rider mower, shovels, rakes, tarps, lawn spreader, assorted tools. Even had room for a 4x2 3 shelf stand up unit for other stuff like gas can, bucket with extension cords, pool skimmers, chemicals, grass seed, fertilizer, potting soil, etc. And it looks very nice. All in all easy build, nice shed. Time will tell how good it holds up to wind, snow, etc. Sun also although mine is in a fairly shady location. My friend has a similar plastic shed he put up 10 years ago....hardly any steel in it, still standing. We are at the NJ shore.

Fantastic shed - 8 hour build project - no issues
Great great product. Very happy. I bought the 8x10 version. Important to note that this version uses the 8x7 version as a baseline with extra pannels to fill out the design. No issues here. The TOP thing you should know is that the 8x10 shed has an actual length of 10 and 2.75 inches. This has implications if you are pouring a concrete pad. Have a solid level foundation before you even order this shed, the foundation is 50% of the work. Follow the assembly instructions and you should be fine. Part 1 is a 1 person job, but the roof requires 2 people. I had no missing pieces and no issues with alignment.

    Shed
This item arrived one day late which doesn't bother me. It was complete and was fairly easy to assemble. I put it together by myself. I just took my time and lots of breaks. I do recommend having a helper when it comes to assembling the roof, but it can be done by one person as I did it. The delivery person was awesome and helped me to check for damage as the packaging was pretty beat up. Other reviews were very helpful to know what to expect.
