Happy with the purchase, good price.
Easy set-up once I figured out the significance of the led lights on the front of the sound bar. I used the optical connection.
There are only three sound settings, but that makes for easy adjustment. Base tends to be a little heavy, but generally sounds good for the money. A big improvement over the built in speakers.
It wasn't available in the local Walmart, so it had to be shipped.

TCL Alto 6 Soundbar
Purchased TCL soundbar to complement TCL TV. However, the TCL soundbar would not work properly with TCL TV. At first it was working on and off sporadically, then it stopped working altogether. Thus need to return it and purchase something that actually works.

The soundbar works great and integrated easily with a Hisense Roku TV. The sound quality is perfectly fine for the small bedroom that it's in and I'm thankful it integrated easily so that I don't have to worry about multiple remote controls and clunky settings.Jacob

I was actually very surprised how good it sounded especially since i got it on a Black Friday Deal for a comical $29.... It sounds better than the huge manufacturer Ihave in my bedroom i got on sale for $89 that starts with a V, so i would say it plays with the bigger brand name soundbars that play in the $100 range, seriously.Pike

Only difficulty was finding out how to activate the CEC function using the TV system menu. I have cable service via a Comcast set top box and was delighted that the Comcast remote also controls the on-off and volume settings of the soundbar. I thus only use one remote. Sound quality is good; volume is much more than I need. Good value for the money.Gary

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/01/2021Highly Recommended for better TV experienceVery easy to setup and makes my TCL 4K ROKU TV way better for under $50, just plug it in to power and hook up the HDMI cable to the ARC HDMI port and pick your settings, TV, Movie or Music mode and you are pretty much done, took all of about 5 minutes to get it working and sounds awesome compared to the stock TV speakers, hopefully one day all new TVS will come out with this kind of sound system built into the system to eliminate the need to purchase a soundbar in the future, I would highly recommend this to anyone with a TV that needs more volume and cleaner sounds at higher volume levels, best under $50 spent this holiday season..Jack7JD

If you have your TCL TV sitting on top of a cabinet and you put the TCLsound bar on top of the cabinet, the TCL remote will not work, As far as the sound bar goes, it works ok, it's not a high end unit, so I did not expect high end sound out of it. All in all a pretty good little sound bar to add to cheap built in speakers. Oh, I figured out how to put the sound bar behind the TV, not an exact fit, it's too large but with a little squeezing and finagling it works. tRetsgoBrandon
