Great Routers!
The TP-Link Deco Routers allow you to connect wirelessly (Wi-Fi) to an existing Internet connection. This set comes with 2 wireless routers which create mesh network between them. This means it automatically manages which router any device in your home is connected to – they both share a single SSID, so you just enter all the settings in each of your Wi-Fi devices and the routers will do the rest. The units themselves are very stylish looking (see picture). The instruction manual looks daunting at first, but it turns out that's just because there are instructions in 37 different languages (literally!). It pretty much just says, “Install the TL-Link Deco App for IOS or Android” and includes a table describing what each of the possible LED colors and blink codes mean. The app was easy enough to find and install on my phone, but it does require an account be setup to use. Once you get through all of the account/creation and setup procedure, the app will step you through the router setup process. It connects to the routers via Bluetooth, and seems to do what it is supposed to do and is very intuitive and user friendly. The system does a lot more than just Wi-Fi routing and includes features like parental controls, screen time limits, You-Tube blocker, etc. You can create a profile for each user and control how much time is allowed to be spent online and block specific websites if desired. Don't overlook the “More” button – the square button on the bottom right side of the app, which includes features you may not see at first. All in all the Deco Router system is rich in features and easy to use. I would recommend to anyone looking to cover add or improve Wi-Fi to a home.

Not sure if this will work for me for my problems
I could not figure out a way to setup system with my home PC and had to use a cell phone as there is no instructions included except the link provided to download link from APP store. Unlike most people that might use this to access wifi better INSIDE their homes, I was hoping it would allow me to connect better with WiFi cameras I have installed outside. I live in a older mobile home with Aluminum siding and it is very hard to receive cell phone inside and wifi outside my home. It doesn't seem to make a difference on our laptop and tablet inside but we never take them outside though my wife did notice the new TP Link network is detected on her cell farther than the one our old router broadcasts by maybe 50-70 feet. The Deco TP Link also didn't help with the buffering we get on some Roku channels. It says it works with Googles Alexa but no info if it will work with our Cortana system so I'm guessing that's a no. Pluses is it has great Parental controls if you have kids with filters, user profiles,time limits and if you want to evade their privacy, look in at sites they visit. Which makes me wonder, is this company keeping tabs on me also? As for my wifi camera problem, I don't know yet if the DECO system will help as I haven't had enough time to contact ZMODO to change my cameras to the new network as i can't seem to find the WiFi settings using their "free" program.

    MUST BUY for Multi-User Household
    I recently upgraded my wifi through the cable company because everything was lagging. I decided to replace the router after the upgrade still didn't give us the speed we needed. Instead of renting a router through cable company, I purchased this one from Walmart. HUGE difference. I wish I had found this sooner. Everyone has great internet speeds- we all have iPhones, I work from home, print wirelessly, we have smart home speakers, we have smart TVs with streaming service, my son plays XBox often- both kids are doing school online from the house, and my teens always have friends over. Everyone has great speeds all the time! We placed one router upstairs in my sons game room, which connected wirelessly to the main router in living room on the main level. It's similar to 2 networks.     This is a solid range router.
    I received this product as a member of the walmart spark reviewer program. I have always aligned myself with nether products but decide to give this a try as well. The two pack routers work ok in myth bedroom one and a half bath apartment but it is not an improvement from my netgear AC1750. More importantly, for gamers the signals from both routers could often times cause some lag issues due to NAT compatibilty issues, similar to what can happen with a repeater in a medium/small area. Fortunately, i took this to my parents three bedroom two bathroom house and replaced their annoying internet service provider stock router and it tripled their signal reception instantly. Prior to the TP Link dual band the house had very slow connection especially when four or five people were using the internet but with the bandwidth expansion provide by these two routers that problem is gone ... Thank havens.. so watching netflix, YouTube tv, and surfing the web are possibly without frustration..especially using the phone wifi as well. I also like how the two routers have identical cylindrical mesh-like shapes giving them a cool sci-fi, futuristic appearance. As a nerd, gamer, and scientist, i really appreciate the design. I recommend this product based on that but remember to be cautious when using in medium-small residences.

    We are enjoying the benefits of having these TP Link Deco W2400 Mesh Router WiFi system | 2 Pack | Coverage up to 3,000 Sq Ft | Replaces Traditional Routers and/or WiFi extenders As we live in a two story house with a finished basement and a huge deck on the back of our house where we often take our phones, tablets, and our laptops. We were having a problem with weak wifi in the basement as when our daughter comes to visit as that is where she stays in the guest room down there. Before we had this Deco set of routers she would often have to come upstairs to do her work online as she works remotely and does all of her work on wifi wherever she happens to be and she was not visiting as often as I would have liked for this reason, the weak wifi in her room and she has to do her work so I understood. However since we have this Deco mesh router things have changed drastically once I put one of them in her room it has made her wifi signal much stronger so that she is able to work down there and she is visiting more often so we are all thrilled with the invention of these Deco routers. We also put one on the table out on the deck as wifi was weak there also, so now we can enjoy a stronger wifi while using our tablet or laptop out there and it is a huge improvement in our electroic world we live in. It was easy to set up and they look nice on the table so we are very pleased with this product!

    Great Connectivity!
    I was happy to see that straight out of the box these routers are easy to set up. The was a small instruction booklet included that helps you with the quick installation but all of it is complete with their user friendly app. It is not difficult to set up if you have basic knowledge of routers or have set any up in the past. There is a color coded system that helps you determine where you are in the set up process. Yellow, Blue, Green and Red are the color used to show you that the system is updating, resetting, setting up or if there are issues. There is also a support page for any frequently asked questions. It took me about 10 minutes to plug in and set up the routers. Once it is set up I noticed that the wifi had a strong signal throughout my home (which is 1700 square feet). I ran numerous speed tests and noticed that I was getting the same download and upload speed no matter where I was standing. I recommend finding an open space for the routers to increase the signal and connectivity. I had once in my office and the other in my living room. I found that they were far enough apart to extend the wifi coverage throughout the house. The routers support up to 100 mbps download and 10 mbps upload. This is a great system if you are looking to replace or expand your current wifi setup.

    This WiFi system handles enough coverage for my whole home. I was so tired of hearing complaints of no internet. It's very easy to install and comes with 2 little cylinder towers that do not take up any room at all. The purpose is to eliminate dead spots in the house. Everyone can handle their own business without interruption. One name and one password and no headaches. Also compatible with Alexa and has a 2 year warranty. WiFi has become very important for school and work with my family. Glad to have this product to help us all at once.

    A Great WiFi System...
    One of the greatest inventions ever to come to fruition is the system of WIFI. It is in use everywhere. You can go to your local restaurant or bookstore or practically any place that people congregate and you can use free WIFI. Being a reviewer for the Sparks program, I had the chance to test WIFI in my own home. I received the "TP Link Deco Dual Band Mesh Router WiFi System to review, and I was instantly impressed. The system resembles two miniature towers. It is sleek and very light weight. The two units work together to create a single network of power. The WIFI system will cover up to 3000 square feet of space. One of the greatest aspects of the "TP Link Deco " unit is that it will keep your devices connected at all times. Be it the computer or tablet or any of your devices that run on WIFI. This unit will provide a perfect signal throughout your house. It will adequately replace any traditional routers and all WIFI extension devices. If you need even more coverage, all you have to do is add another TP Link system. It will install quickly with the app based set-up. A really good device.

    Seamless Home Wi-Fi Everywhere + Accessible Price!
    The TP-Link Deco W2400 Mesh Whole Home Wi-Fi System allows you to have seamless and full home wireless coverage exactly where you need it most. Each unit of this system provides what is called an access point to provide seamless roaming, and the system is designed to provide you with the best and most stable coverage according to where you are in your home. For example, I have fairly good coverage with Fios in this home, but upstairs in the master bath is often where I find my dead spot. I take my iPad all over the house when I am listening to something online, and I occasionally get disconnected from my Wi-Fi or my connectivity will be intermittently interrupted (you know, the spinning circle!). That's where the Deco system comes in. By placing a second unit in the area where I experience signal interruptions, I can achieve seamless Wi-Fi coverage when I am upstairs getting ready for the day. Guided Installation via the TP-Link App TP-Link has made it incredibly simple to install their whole home Wi-Fi system and even if I feared technology, I would be able to install this. That said, all I did was install the app on my iPad (search for “deco”) and the instructions moved me through the prompts. The entire set-up took approximately 5 minutes. I placed the second unit in my dressing room next to the master bath because this is where I experience signal interruptions. Using the app, I added the second unit, and this set up took approximately 30 seconds. This is probably the fastest, most seamless set-up of any type of system of this kind that I have ever seen. If you do not have an iPad or an iPhone, you can use your Android cellular phone to set this system up. If you are setting your system up via an Android OS (your Android phone or tablet), then search for “tp link deco” on Google play to find the right app. I did not find a way to do this through my laptop using Windows, so it looks like for now, the set-up can only be done through an app using iOS or Android. This works out fine because a cell phone or iPad is more portable for this purpose. Coverage, Features and Updates This particular Deco system with the two units (also known as “nodes”) covers up to 3000 square feet. If your home is larger than that, you may want to consider the system with three units, or you could simply add another Deco unit. The price point is fantastic considering rival systems are considerably more expensive. The TP-Link Deco system provides other features aside from seamless access points, such as parental controls where you can filter content, limit the amount of time spent online, review internet history, and block specific internet websites for children. You can also pair this with Alexa for voice commands if you so choose. When you log into your interface, you can see all of the devices logged into the system and you can create profiles for those devices associated with family members. You can also manually update your Deco units, but this likely isn't necessary since they push notifications for updates to you through the app. Final Thoughts iPads are notoriously slower when surfing the internet for some reason, and I have an iPad Air, which seems to have picked up some steam since it began using this system. It loads websites faster when I am upstairs, and I don't get the lag I was getting prior to installing this system. I also noticed that once I installed the app on my Android phone, I received a notification that a new device was on the network, which is very cool. Overall, TP-Link Deco has made it extremely easy to have seamless Wi-Fi coverage anywhere in the home. If you need to amplify your Wi-Fi coverage but feel that you are not technically-inclined, you can rest assured that this company has done the heavy lifting for you. The guided installation process within the app is so simple and the graphics are easy to understand that it is impossible to not get it right. What a fantastic product!!

This means that you don't have to switch between networks as you move throughout your home, as you would have to do with a Wi-Fi extender. According to the information, it has a range of 3,000 square feet and can handle as many as 100 Wi-Fi devices at once! It's also fully compatible with Amazon's Alexa. The Deco W2400 is incredibly easy to set-up and manage. The company has an app for IOS or Android. The app takes you through very easy step by step set up instructions. It also offers a location feature that can help you find the best place to put the Deco units in your home, optimizing coverage. Plus, the app also offers built-in parental controls that allow you to select when certain devices or family members can use the internet and also to filter out inappropriate content for your kids. This feature is also very easy to set up and very precise in regard to managing which devices, what days, or time of the day. You can even set up individual devices to shut down for the night and wake up in the morning. Awesome! Since installing this device, all of our phones now have full bars. Win!
