Powerful, works great as wireless repeater
I used it as a repeater, works great. Because primary router have to be located at first floor where cable can reach. This one as a wireless repeater can be placed in the center location of my house(2nd floor), and the WiFi signal is strong at anywhere in/around my house.

Have to unplug this every other day
Junk! Have to constantly reset this. It goes out for no reason. It hasn't worked right since the day we bought it. I thought for a long time our internet was just bad. Nope!

    Could not handle 200 mbps line
    My line is 200 mbps. This could only provide 80 mbps. Returned the router.

    Excellent router. Covers the entire house.
    We use it on a 2,000 sq/ft house and it covers it all. Strong signal, easy setup, great performance.

    Easy to install
    I was not looking forward to replacing a netgear router (I had help installing this) that decided to give up after less than 1 year. I am 70 and not confident with new technology. I chose the Tenda based on reviews that said how easy it was to install. And I was not disappointed. It took less than 10 minutes to hook it up and get it working. And it works better than the netgear.

    I had problems
    I don't know if it is a 5 star or 1 star. I could not set it up. Instructions required things that I did not have or that I did not know and did not offer any assistance in how to get that info. Further, I tried to call the 800 help line. it was too early Eastern time and they are PDT. recording said i could leave a message, but the mail box was full. Decided I would return the item to Walmart. It might be a great router. It may be a piece of junk. It is not easy to set up.

    Good Cheap dual band router
    Pros: Set up was super easy. App is very nice and lots of configuration options. Coverage is nice Cons: Cant go beyond 100 Mbps (I get close to 200 Mbps on wired line from Modem), but get 90-100 Mbps on both Wired/Wifi from this Modem. Wifi keeps dropping from time to time on my laptop. Although it works fine on my other devices. Didn't use to have this problem with my old Tplink router.

    This is also a WISP router
    I was looking for a high quality router that is also a WISP router and this one is exactly that. I have seen some people say that this is not a WISP router but they just didn't read the instuructions. It is under wifi settings. I was using a travel router before but this router is so much better. 100% satisfied.
