The painter recommended this brand and we were satisfied with the product, although we did not get an exact color match [that is not a problem with the product]. Ordering was easy and delivery was the next day. Couldn't be more satisfied. The stain/sealant dried in about an hour.

Very disappointed!
Bought this product to use on treated surfaces around our home. Opened container and content was a pink solution with thick gunk blobs. Thinking it would turn clear/transparent on wood surface I sprayed on a small area of deck. The pick absorbed into the wood grain discoloured the test area. I had dispose of remaining contents. Absolutely will never purchase or use again.

    Thompsons WaterSeal is the best. We have been using it for years. It goes on smooth, dries well, and repels water really well.

    Finally got around to staining and sealing my deck with 3 gallons of Autumn Brown signature series now that I'm looking to touch up some spots I find out Autumn Brown is discontinued what do I do know ??

    Too dark
    I was looking for a light tint for a cedar fence so I chose the tinted transparent stain and sealer. This went on fairly easily but is way to dark and almost looks like the fence was painted.

    Turned out exactly how I wanted!
    I had an old privacy fence that was severely neglected because neither my neighbor or I knew who's it belonged to… it was old, grey weathered (PNW weather), mildewy… I prepped with cleaner and power washed it, then sanded it a bit…. I think some of the reviews are from people using this incorrectly? Thompsons correct me if I'm wrong & ofc time will tell but you kind of have to treat this like you know nothing! For the one coat you really have to work it in the wood as it absorbs! Touch a board & you gotta finish it… after you finish one, back brush & look at the last one you did to see if any spots need any more! I could tell that a 2nd coat almost repels itself after it dries? Anyway, it turned out great and I'm excited to test the longevity! Color was the natural cedar

    Terrible product
    Quite possibly the worst product I ever bought. Transparent waterproofing went on like mud with a garden sprayer and was anything but transparent. Kept waiting for it to be absorbed by the wood and never was.

    Bought 25 gallons to do a large fence around my yard. It started peeling off after 1 year, and more so into the second year. I wouldn't apply this again if it was given to me for free. On the can it states "Satisfaction Guaranteed". There is no satisfaction guarantee.
