All we needed
This phone will be used between 12 people taking weekly turns answering calls to serve the poor and unfortunate in our parish area. It is a big step up in quality from the simple flip phone we've been using for some time, audio quality in particular. Smart phone frills not needed. Just good connection in an updated cellular service and a much better sound on the earpiece.

Sumsung A10 NIGHTMARE
Need a zero star rating for this one. Absolutely terrible experience. Many different Tracfone techs and I spent several hours over a 5 day period trying to get this phone setup and working. They could not get the phone so that it would accept or make phone calls. They even tried a factory reset. I have a Samsung A11 that works just fine, but not this a10. After 5 days of trying, I gave up and told them that I wanted to return the A10 for a fell credit. I purchased a Lively Jitterbug Flip phone instead and it was setup and ready to make calls in about 15 mins.!

    It was a good phone at the start, confused me when it came. Ordered it off walmart and it came in an Amazon box. But as of now it will become unresponsive at times and I struggle sometimes just to get it to unlock when I put my pin in. And now it makes me have internet just to receive texts from other TracFones. It also picks and chooses what notifications it lets me know I have. Its an okay phone if you plan to rarely use it for anything other then answering calls and even thats a hastle. I only got this phone less then a year ago to replace my Samsung J3 Orbit because the battery was gping and I'm already looking to replace it because of the issues. And before you say I need to restart it, I do and it doesn't help, its always a fight to get it to unlock after I restart it.

    Not as easy to use as Galazy J3 orbit
    The phone is jumpy and switches screens in the middle of reading a book, browsing the internet or changing settings. For pin entry, it makes you enter OK after the digits, which slows you down. I needed to replace my broken screen and wish I didn't buy the A10e instead.

    UPGRADED SPEED BUT SMALLER PLATFORM
    I purchased a newer Samsung to upgrade my phone speed and software. One problem I experienced was the smaller size of this newer platform. It has the same function as the old Samsung. Make sure you upload all your information to the Samsung cloud prior to changing phones. It helps with the transition to the new phone. One other issue I did not like about it was that the charging input port is not the standard USB. It is a different type of port that requires the special charging cord..

    Great phone
    This pairs perfectly with my tab a7. My other one was stolen so I had a galaxy j7 prime for a while. This one is lighter and faster and the OS is great.

    It seems to be ok.
    The phone seems to work fine. I don't quite understand why I have to go through 3 steps to get the most current notification item. After getting the notification beep, I have to turn on the phone, put in my code, then swipe to enable scrolling to the notification items. Maybe I will get smarter and figure a quicker way.

    Seniors Going From Old to New
    We purchased the Galaxy as a replacement for an older style flip-phone, so are still adjusting to the increased complexity and functionality. The Galaxy is certainly an excellent smart phone and would recommend it, but would say that it is a challenge to seniors not comfortable with technology. We think that transitioning from an older flip-phone to the Galaxy could be made easier if Tracfone included a more complete user guide, to include not only the use of the phone, but also a bit more on how the new program actually works.

    Just What I Wanted!
    Replacement for my Luna J3 Pro, which was all the phone I needed until it stopped being able to run some essential apps: same size, same price, does everything I need a little better than the J3, and didn't screw anything up. And it pulled in all my contacts and pics via Bluetooth. Trailing edge tech at its best!
