Too soft
I bought his ball and I am really negativelly surprised. The ball is too soft. I woul need a firmer one.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/16/2021Game changer for hip and back pain.Im amazed with this little ball. I was a skeptic and didn't think It would really do much ….I was wrong. I have constant hip/glute pain and low back issues. I work out a ton and I'm always sore. Very sore. Plus I have back issues. For years I have been using a softball to help get rid of knots and soreness. But it hurts. Not made for that. But this little ball is amazing. This gem just eases its way into your soreness without pain or discomfort. It melts away the painful areas and soothes like crazy. . It's a total game changer. I am in loveeeeee! I will be using it every single day along. Worth every penny.Befitandgetmoving

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/08/2021GRID Ball - Deforms under pressureI have several TP products that I'm very pleased with, but not this one. I'm only 160 lbs. and this ball deforms to the point that it can barely roll, whether you use it for your back or your hamstrings. If doing it over again, I'd pass on this and go for the firmer black version.Jdaz

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/08/2021This is a must have for your toolbox! This was 1 of the first things I bought from trigger point after a friend recommended it. I was so upset because I was working on some really bad back knots, and it was too soft. So I ordered the blk grid ball which is great. But now i've realized you really have to have both. This is great for the neck or a muscle that is in really bad shape, etc. I think it's a must have for your fitness equipment.Mike P

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/07/2020Does the Job with Some EffortGreat in a pinch if I can't take the Grid Foam Roller with me. A little more tricky to use and doesn't target muscles to the same extent that the foam roller does.Retailer and Avid Runner

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/19/2018Need a firmer versionI am a fan of this company and own many products but I agree with the other reviewer that this ball is just too mushy. It's a great concept and PERFECT size but simply collapses and compresses too much under normal pressure - and I am an average 5'11”, 170 pound male. Like other products, TP needs to roll out a firmer “black” version or something. Great concept but needs better execution or at least another variant.Gary in DC

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/26/2017Wanting more...I own the Grid X, MB 5 and now the Grid Ball. Recovering from a Rupture Quad tendon. As a Masters Sprinter, getting back to basic, mechanics, strengthen all the posterior chain functions. Walking and now moving into plyo drills. Grid Ball like the MB 5...let me know when that comes out...Adiprime24

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/06/2017Different ExperienceI have other TP products but didn't know the Grid Ball existed. I went to pick up a TP roller for a friend for his birthday and threw this in the basket for myself. I've been using a lacrosse ball to work out tendon pain in my right shoulder. Although this works well, it's hard to get to every part of my shoulder. The Grid Ball is working great for me - it made an immediate improvement in my pre- and post-workout therapy because I can now dig in everywhere to loosen things up. I'm working on a 1,000,000 meter goal this season with my Concept2 SkiErg so keeping my shoulder pain free is important. For me, the Grid Ball has quickly become a key part of my warm up before doing an LSD ski or speed work with intervals. I can lean into it with all my weight and it works well for me (167lbs). The only nick I have is the foam is initially a bit slick but I suspect that will wear off over time as it breaks in with sweat and body oil. Although I have only had it a week, I gave it a 5 for durability on the assumption that it's the same foam as my TP roller (two years old and going strong). Thanks, TP, for another great product.NothingClever
