Haven't let me down yet
I just went and counted my arsenal of Ugly-Stik catfish rods. I have 22 total that consist of spinning and casting rods. I recently purchased 6 of the Pro-Lite series and love them. Never had one break or falter in any way. I catch roughly 1200-1500 catfish each year between myself and the people I take with me. That is a lot of fish with 0 failures.     Amazing rods sensitive tips
    I have used these rods for years for sturgeon fishing and catfishing caught some pigs on these rods took my brother fishing for the first time last weekend and he hooked into a 60 inch lake sturgeon talk about a tough rod highly recommend these rods are very strong very tough the pics prove it!!!! You have a customer for life ugly stik

    Good rod for fishing big baits.
    I got this rod last season and love it. I use it to fish large deadbaits for pike, as it can handle casting large baitfish. I've caught quite a few 40+ inch pike on it and it performs beautifully when fighting large fish. If it was a little lighter it would also be good for fishing big lures, but since that isnt really what it was designed for I suppose I cant complain too much.

    Bang for the buck
    Uglystik won me over when I caught a 65lb blue catfish on a medium action Uglystik. The rod doubled over but never broke. I will forever be Uglystik faithful.

    very good rods!!
    Very good multi purpose rods. I use them for vertical jigging on tahoe with 2oz. Perfect for this. Would also make a great west cost light sturgeon rod!

    One tuff rod. I have put it to the test
    I have used ugly stick for the last 20 years. This rod is perfect for casting and any type of fishing. I cast 4-6 oz sinkers when catfishing and have never had a problem. I will not buy anything else but Ugly stik. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
