Good Reliable Durable DVD's
These are the DVD- R . The R as in recordable. I buy these all the time and I have never had any problems with them. They are durable and you can write on them with a marker. Or you can print out DVD labels to put them on. In one of these DVD's your able to to use 4.7GB that's about 800 photos from slides. because those are small pictures. And 120 min of video that's about an hour 1/2. At 120x speed rate is a good rate. The Life time Series, means a Limited life time warranty.

They do what they are supposed to
There's not a lot to say about blank DVD-R discs. They do what they are made to do. Good for making a hard copy of home movies or for saving photos or slide presentations. The covered spindle storage is nice to keep the discs clean and dust-free, as long as you are careful with it. The spindle breaks easily.

    You Really Need These To Copy Your Memories
    I often forget how easily you can lose all your pictures and videos that are stored on your computer, cellular phone or whatever you happen to be using. So I try to back up my data from time to time and also like to keep some CD/DVD copies in a safe place just in case it hits the fan! These Verbatim Life Series DVD-R blank disk make a great choice with 4.7GB of storage and a speed up to 16x on the recordable blank disks. They can hold up to 120 minutes of data, so they are also great at recording movies that are under two hours long or split between disks. I have transferred a lot of older VHS movies to these DVD's and most will copy without any problems and look very good when watching them later on. I'm not sure what new technology will come in the future, but I like the peace of mind that these disk give me. I just hope that the DVD players will outlast us all! They come in a protective plastic case that is light weight, but keeps everything together and safe. You can right on the front side of the disks to let you know what is on that disk and sleep a little better at night. Good luck

    convenient 100 pack spindle
    I chose this 100 pack of Recordable Blank Disc's because I'm working on an extensive project of scanning all of my mother's old pictures into my computer and then recording them onto these disc's to send to my siblings as a keep sake of their earlier lives. Each disc will hold hundreds of pictures. There will probably be 40 disc's used for this project but I'm happy I have so many disc's available in this spindle. I don't like to use thumb drives for these types of projects because they get lost or can not be labeled as easily. Verbatim brand has always served me well in the past and I've never had problems recording to them. You can either print off a custom label on your computer (labels not included) or you can simply write on the black side of disc with a permanent marker. I would also encourage people to purchase clear storage CD cases or sleeves to keep dust and scratches off the CD.

    High quality name brand recordable DVD
    The Verbatim Life Series DVD-R 4.7GB 16x Recordable Blank Disc 100 Pack Spindle is a nice high quality name brand product. I've used Verbatim brand disks for probably over 20 years. I've never had a problem with errors when creating a disk. And even the oldest disks I have still read with no problems. Make sure you run a dvd cleaner once in a while. Old drives can get dusty and dirty inside which can cause problems reading and writing disks. For anyone looking for a nice high quality name brand recordable DVD, I definitely recommend you give this one a try.

    Item came securely packed inside a cardboard box in a easy open solid plastic case, arrived intact. I would suggest storage discs in the clear plastic case they come in, to prevent dust, scratches and etc. Each disc has 4.7GB or 120 minutes of write over storage capacity. You will be able to securely store data. Great recording quality and comparability comparability with 1X to 16X DVD-R writers. Burn two hours of video in approximately five minutes, plus patented coating protection from UV light damage. Features listed- 1.3 hrs HD Video, 1,550 photos, 4.2 hrs of SD video, AZO technology, quality at a great price, compatibility, can label each disc with marker. Trusted Verbatim brand since 1969.     I am a Spark Reviewer for Walmart and today I am reviewing the Verbatim Life Series 97177 16x DVD-R Silver 100/Pack. These DVD's are great for holding up to 4.7 gigs of data. Much more than a standard CD. They run at a 16X Speed and hold up to 120minutes of video. I have used Verbatim in the past and have found them to be a good quality DVD and represent a name that has been around for a long time. I would surely recomend them to others.

    Verbatim is a quality disc
    Recently I was transferring old CDs and DVDs to a hard drive. Discs that were 10 years old would suddenly not work. It was the no-name brand disc that had the problem. The Verbatim discs that I used years ago still works great. If you want to save memories, do not use cheap no name discs. Go with a quality name like Verbatim These DVD discs hold 4.7 gig with a read/write speed of 16x. 100 pack

    These DVD can be used for so many things.....to copy movies, to save pictures, to make a compilation of favorite recipes, etc. I think it would be an awsome idea to collect stories and recipes from the older people in the community. Take these stories and recipes and organize them , then save them to the DVDs and give out in the community. It would preserve local history and recipes while the older generation is still here with us to share them with us. With the big 100 pack the ideas are only limited to the imagination of you!

    Excellent DVD Record-able Disc
    This Recordable Disc is the top in its line for the quality of the material. The sound recording is spot on for duplication and the color playback is second to none for its vibrancy of the true colors. The two hours of record time is excellent for long movies or documentaries.
