Great basic brush for message type brushing.
I have a doodle half Wheaten terrier / half poodle. Hair is curly curly not very thick, he is sensitive to slicker and pin brushes. And he hates the sounds those make!
This brush is the only brush he loves loves to be brushed with.
Inexpensive, but last a long time.
If your dog is the sensitive type, this brush is a winner!!! It does not poof out the hair like a slicker but it is enough to keep the mats from forming. I am happy with the brush

Vicious
I previously purchased an Oster Dog brush from walmart which was very nice. So when the tips wore off I bought another. It is now walmart under the name vibrant life. Except for that new manufacturer, everything is almost exactly the same. The only difference is that all of the tips are missing. Without proper tips, it tears skin.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/24/2022Wasted money on this brush. This brush is almost impossible to clean. Also, hair flies everywhere. My dog seems to like it, but mommy doesn't. I will be looking for a self-cleaning brush.Linda

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/02/2021Not an improvement. They took a 2 sided brush and combined them into one side. Rendering bristle side useless by making them shorter than the other.Wisebuyer

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/23/2020Where's the muscle in this brush? Is this brush for dogs? It didn't even begin to scratch the surface of their fur. The price was great, but you get what you pay for...not a good quality brush. I normally buy the "Slicker" brush, which can be pricey. I'm going back to it because it lasts long and gets the job done. This brush might work better for "small -n- furry" creatures like hamster, kittens, and rabbits. It is definitely not a farm dog brush.Tami
