Just don't!
My senior cats are getting sensitive about brushing certain areas so I thought, cool - a brush and de-shedding combo! Maybe this would be OK for a dog, IF THE BRISTLES WEREN'T FALLING OUT?! By about the 4th time brushing my cats

    I have a long haired cat whom we had to have clipped twice a year because of tangled fur. This brush removes the tangles and I no longer have to have him clipped.

    really great!
    I love this brush because when their hair is short I use the bristle to brush them as their hair starts growing out I use the pin brush to untangle any knots they get. the pin brush side doesnt hurt the dogs.

    Good concept, bad quality.
    I bought this for the bristle brush, I have rabbits and certain brushes pull her fur to wear she's bald and the slicker brushes just don't work for her fur. As soon as I brushed my rabbit. The bristles started falling off. They come out easily and any pet that happened to eat them it could end very bad.
