Motor burned up during 1st use
The first time that I used this sander, I tried to sand off some old linoleum residue on a bathroom floor. I was preparing the floor for new click-lock vinyl plank flooring. Didn't even apply all that much pressure and the motor started smoking and then froze up after 5 minutes. I guess the motor is underpowered or cheaply made, I am not sure. Unfortunately this was a few months after I had purchased the sander and I will not attempt a refund, so I recommend that if you purchase one, don't wait to test it out.

    Belt sander
    worked great for a few months but now I can only turn it off by unplugging it with has proven to be dangerous once. I'm talking with customer service to see if it can be fixed now

    broken belt sander
    I use this belt sander for about 2 days and then it wouldn't work anymore and the price went up $20 so they wouldn't replace it. probably just as well because the next one would probably do the same thing.

    Buy something else
    Lot of problems with this sander. First the belt would keep sliding towards the inside edges and start tearing itself apart. The second is that the belt that connects to motor also fell apart. So I can't fix it and now it's junk. I only used this a few times.

    Save your self a lot of aggravation sander stopped working after 2nd use there was continuous power through out unit per a electrical tester turned out switch full of dust making no contact after cleaning it worked once more next time went to use it was dead again.

    Nice to work with
    Novice, but it appears its a quite nice system, but working in corners not possible. The up-side down clamp-down is very convenient feature.
