They are better than the ones that actually came with it's original product. I used them for the Black and Decker as a strong replacement.

Waste of Money!
If you are looking to replace the Black and Decker brand of spool, you WILL be disappointed with this product. I bought this as Walmart isn't carrying the B and D brand. I will go out of my way to pick up at Lowes or order online. I went through a spool in 10 minutes or less. Never has this happened. Cheap crap in my opinion.

    Went through a spool in about 20 feet of cutting, and had cuts all over my legs. This is is trash.

    Terrible Quality
    Blew through a roll in no time. Strands kept getting cut off and flying against my legs. By the time I finished mowing, I had cuts all over my legs. Figured it must have been a bad roll so tried another one. Same issue. In fact, the second roll was even tangled up midway through the roll! So threw the 3rd roll away and went to Lowes for the real stuff.

    Works for me, I have a big spool of line I usually do my own, but my hands aren't what they use to be so this is the next best thing. Sorry they stopped selling the Black and Decker trimmer and edger that used this item, only one I will use! Lasts a good long time.

    I don't generally feel the need to write a review, good or bad on various products I have purchased. However, the lack of quality in this product deserves notice. I also purchased this product a Wal Mart since it was the only available spool for my weed eater. It is self feeding constantly - it reduces the effectiveness of the weed eater, feeds to fast and sends the cut string flying through the air. I feel like the money I spent was wasted and do not recommend this product at all. If I were the manufacturer, I would be too ashamed to put this on the market.

    compatible with black and decker self feeding trimmer... however the spool auto feeds even when isn't necessary which causes string to break off and go flying. dangerous! one spool of genuine b

    Horrible Quality
    Purchased one three pack. Got it home and the line on all of the spools was cracked and breaking. Took it back to exchange it and checked the entire stock on the shelf. They had 15 more 3 packs and every single one of them was cracked and unusable. I have no clue how the line performs against weeds since they don’t have any to try.
