Not worth the cost.
I bought one to see if I'd like to use them in our halls. We watched the light go so dim over the first few weeks its pretty much useless now. Not happy. This cover is too expensive to go out in the first few weeks. I'm glad I only started with the one. When it was first installed it looked great. Now you can barely see the light.

    Positive. They work just like I wanted.
    This wall plate cover provides lighting at night and does not use one of the plugs in order to get it. Love it!

    Fades fast
    The light was great at first but within a few weeks they started fading. They aren't very bright any longer and at this price it's not something I would want to replace every few months.

    Love the auto nightlight feature.
    I didn't realize that when I boght this, it had a nightlight. I was skeptical, but it works. Im very happy with the cover plate. The nightlight automatically comes on when the lights go out.

    Nice nightlight
    Covers are simple to change out to plugs. LED is great nightlight. Only reason for not 5 stars is because there are recalls on some LumiCovers. So once installed, monitor the heat from the cover to determine if your plate is OK.

    GFCI Led covers and recalls
    The cover has the tabs with metal in the middle of the plate. If your GFCI plug has screws at top and bottom, there is no way for this cover's tabs to make contact with electricity. Therefore these plates cannot be used for an of my GFCI plugs. So sad, since the other style for "round" sockets works so well! I called the company and this is the only style they have for the "square" GFCI opening covers. Check your plug screw wire placements before ordering so that you do not have to return your covers due to poor fit. Also there is a recall for Lumicovers so check websites to see if yours model overheats and is recalled

    Plastic clips inside break
    I have purchased at least 12 of the dusk/Dawn style outlet covers. They work great as far as giving enough light at night and turning on and off. But the inside plastic clip that connects to the inside of wall outlet has broken off on at least 3 of my purchases and I have had the inconvenience of returning and rebuying. So be aware of this when you consider buying. Other than that they work as intended.

    Really nice until they die
    Purchased 3 in store. 1 of 3 has already failed and is super dim after a few months.My father tried 2 of them and one was DOA. They are awesome when they work. In certain lighting they can flicker. Taking the failed one apart reveals mediocre components and very thin wire. Look and operate well, don't count on them lasting.

    Perfect night light.
    Perfect. I installed in under a minute and it lights up my landing on the stairs perfectly. Not overly bright but perfect amount of lighting and I don't have to worry about turning it on or off and other night lights with sensors don't work properly where I have to plug it in at. So this is worth the money. In fact I will be installing them in my camper as well.

    It works well
    Finally got around to installing! I really like it. It's installed at the top of my stairs and throws enough light to keep the overhead off. I'd like to find one with a duplex plug and light switch for my kitchen but have had no luck. I'll buy another for my downstairs bath. How long will it last, I don't know. There are others online with a switch to turn on/off which, to me, defeats the purpose. It's nothing to install. Remove the old faceplate and replace it with this. The clips create the contact for the light.
