Missing hardware, wasted my time and money.
I bought two of these bar stools. Neither came with the correct number of type of screws. Between the two I had enough hardware to build one bar stool. Very frustrating.

    Great stool for the price
    Great stools for the price. They were packaged well. The instructions were definitely lacking but not too difficult to figure out. Assembly took some time but using an allen wrench bit in a drill sped up the process. They seem sturdy and look good but I will say, as you can see in the picture, the finish is very dark. Much darker than my other cherry furniture and cabinets. I would still recommend them if the color will work for you.

    Buyer Beware Not Be Made Right
    I ordered 4 of these bar stools. They were of exceptional quality for the price except for one. 1 of my barstool seats was wrong. The tuck on the seat and the hole drilled for the back to attach were wrong. the tuck is on the left side instead of centered in the back where the seat is to be attached.to the back. Someone drilled the holes for the back to attach in the wrong place. We went ahead and kept it instead of trying to send it back. I was so excited in receiving them to wind up being disappointed in what I received. It just goes into buyer beware its better to buy where you can look at them instead of ordering from a picture. I've bought a lot of things online this is my first bad experience so I've been lucky. Goes with the saying you had one job!!!!! Someone didn't check this out too well. I spent money my husband worked hard for I expected to get what I had ordered this is not what I ordered so it kinda makes me feel like they don't care they'll ship anything just to fill the order.

    Exactly what I needed
    This swivel bar stool was exactly what I needed. Assembly requires two people, so have a friend handy to hold parts while you tighten with the Allen wrench. An electric screwdriver with an Allen wrench bit would save time and effort, but the manual assembly only took about 30 minutes per stool once we did the first one. I would buy these again. They are sturdy and classy.

    Good for the price but as noted assmebly is a bit of pain
    These stools are comfortable and reasonably well made, particularly at this price. As noted in other reviews the stool is a but of a pain to assemble and the directions do have the two different bolts used listed backwards as far as which go where. Positioning of some of the bolts allow only quarter turns of the supplied Allen wrench so tightening the bolts is a time consuming process. The 6 longer ones are for the back rest, the others are for everything else. One review mentioned the need to re-tighten the hardware once a month. I find that a bit hard to believe based on how tight I was able to get the bolts when assembling the stool and the fact that, with the exception of the bolts for the stool backrest they all have lock washers. Having said that I took heed and used thread lock liquid on all the bolts when I assembled the stools. Only time will tell if I will experience the same issue.

    The bar stools arrived well packed and in good condition. Instructions were understandable, but the parts list could have identified the different length machine screws a bit more clearly. Running a machine screw into each hole prior to assembly will make installing them easier when attaching parts. The threads in several holes were slightly clogged. We had to go to the tool box for a shorter Allen Wrench because the one supplied was too long to fit into some of the confined spaces. The backrest is too vertical in my opinion, but that eliminates some slouching.
