Not for me
When I ordered these some tie ago, I did not care for the smoked flavor. I gave cans away and these are for one of the people a gave them to because she loves them.

Catchy name, but hardly edible
These were the worst sardines I've ever eaten. I tried them because some guy on a podcast seemed to be innocently promoting them as something special which they are not. They are oversize and a weird texture. It's like eating water packed tuna with no salt, but with the skin and bones of the sardine. The olive oil is just a little floating on top of the water. Go with the King Oscar or Bumble Bee in olive oil which are excellent compared to these that are barely edible. Don't let "Wild Planet" make you think these are something they are not.

    Another Hit!
Best thing to have in the cupboard for the winter months: Wild Sardines In Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Easy winter lunches can be prepared by serving with salad or soup or both.

    Sometimes Less is More
I love my new purchase! I used to eat another brand regularly for many years but decided to try Wild Planet because of the safer packaging. I immediately noticed the taste as being less salty and checked the box. There is considerably less sodium in Wild Planet, so I'm quite happy about that, too. We should all be consuming less sodium, so I now have less of that as well as the lack of dangerous chemicals contained in my old brand's packaging. Sometimes, less is more, and in this case, I definitely prefer less!

    Fabulous Sardines
I love Wild Planet's sardines! Each tin contains 3-4 very meaty, tasty sardines--I plan to order 6 more! (I get them shipped because I live in a rural area of north Florida--less expensive to do this than driving to the nearest store that sells their products ?.)

Nutritionally dense and an excellent bargain.
I'm so glad I purchased this product. It is nutritionally dense and an excellent bargain. Your Wild Planet Wild Sardines In Extra Virgin Olive Oil are delicious and filling . I have them on toast with preserved roasted red bell pepper, lemon pepper, and a little sea salt.

My sister introduced me to sardines. I never ate them before. Discovered that they taste great and are an excellent source of protein and other vital nutrients (think Omega-3 oils).

I have eaten sardines from Sumaco from Morocco and other brand, but this one is the worst sardines I have ever tried before, kind of insults to my taste. It doesn't deserve even a star! Don't buy sardines processed in Thailand, buy Vietnam instead, period.

Sardines are a good pantry item, and I like these.
This is a new product for me, and the sardines met my expectations. I would buy again.
