Velcro not sticking
After the third or forth game with this we're struggling keeping the leggings on our players. The Velcro is simply not working on all three sets we purchased. I suppose you get what you pay for. These were purchased for a youth league with hopes to work through a small 6 week fall season and spring ball. With limited funds this seemed like a smart buy, but we'll have the shell out more for spring and won't be purchasing this brand again.

    Spend the money on the higher end sets
    The helmet and chest protector are decent. The leg guards are Velcro which I was not aware of. They are definitely not going to last as long as the typical metal clips.

    The catcher's gear was a hit!
    This was a birthday present for my grandson - and he is very happy with it. Baseball season is just beginning so I haven't got to see it in action yet, but he was pleased with it.

    PARENTS PLEASE DONT BUY THIS FOR YOUR CHILDREN!
    I'm going to break it down real short and simple if you were looking to buy and INVEST in a youths catchers gear. 1.) The chest protector is literally a cardboard box protecting your child's chest. If a ball is traveling atleast 25-30mph on a machine pitch and gets hit by the ball, get ready to run to the dugout. 2.) The chin guards are horrible! The Velcro straps WILL keep coming off your child's leg and very annoying! 3.) The durability of this “catchers set” probably won't even past a season. I'm in the middle of trying to return mines that I used for 15minutes with my son and they are telling me I can't return because it's been “used”. Completely ridiculous and a piece of junk! I'd highly recommend every parent to invest in catchers gear with Easton, Rawling, Mizuno, Under Armour, Adidas and All star catchers gear instead! Pay the extra instead of buying this trash! You'll be glad you didn't or stuck trying to return it like me!!
