Solid Exercise bike in the convenience of my home.
The Good: - Setup was simple for me to do. I was able to setup by myself without too much time required. I did have to refer to the book a few times and wished that I would have looked at the instructions for the wiring of the screen. It was packaged the way it was for a reason. - The bike itself feels high quality. It is mostly made of metal and feels sturdy. Some may not like the seat due to feeling more like a seat on a real bike rather then a cushy chair. I prefer this as I want to prep my bottom end in the off season for rides on road. -The bike is relatively quiet and this allows me to not disturb others in the house and to watch TV while exercising. - When using ifit it is nice to have a the bike automatically adjust the resistance to simulate hills. The resistance graphs are fun to look at and they do a good job showing your speed relative to the resistance. The Bad: - The quirks of the bike don't make me lower the rating as the bike itself is five star and meets my expectation of an exercise bike but ifit has a few quirks. I really don't like subscription based pricing models. There are many people I know that don't mind them but I hate them. I could not find an option to purchase individual workout rides that stay with the bike even if I cancel my ifit subscription. The Other: I have to add another section as it is not really good or bad but worth a mention. The ifit workouts have an option that appears to follow your selected ride on google street view. They are still pictures and it felt really awkward watching at first. It gets better and can entertain you but I would prefer just watching their graphs or a TV show while on the bike. But for the price point I would not expect actual video of the ride. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

    This is a pretty good bike.
    With so many less expensive options to consider I spent a lot of time mulling this purchase over before ordering. Upon receipt of the bike I was able to put it together okay until I noticed a the handle unit couldn't fit into the base part of the bike. As it turned out there was a cracked plastic sleeve that prevented this. I reached out to ProForm's customer service chat and the rep orders a new sleeve which came fairly quickly. The original sleeve was almost impossible to get out (they recommended I use a butter knife which proved useless) but after a couple of days of fighting with it it finally broke apart to the point I could push it out. The new sleeve fit with no problem and the handle unit fit. Having finally got to use the bike after that mishap, it's easy to use and I enjoy it, minus the seat. I like the available programs and resistance levels. Overall it's a good product and despite the initial skepticism I had when I first received it with a broken piece, I do not regret purchasing it.

    FANTASTIC EASY WORKOUT!!
    I purchased this exercise bike for my hubby as a Christmas gift -- he is in need of the type of muscle stimulation it provides, plus pulmonary and cardiac health. HE LOVES IT!! Started riding right away. Only thing negative is the seat it's a killer. We changed it out with a Schwinn saddle -- works much better for us old folks.

    Didn't & still doesn't work right out of the box!
    My husband assembled the bike and we couldn't get the tension to adjust when using a program. I called customer service and they said the tension motor needs replaced. A new motor was shipped and a service call scheduled. The Service Tech called to confirm the appt and stated she didn't think it was the motor. She order a new monitor and an additional part. She came to repair the bike, spent 1.5 hours and wasn't ever able to get the tension to work. The Service Tech stated she has worked on several bikes this same model. Proform stated the bike couldn't be returned because it's outside the 30 day return/exchange policy ( it was a Christmas gift). Sam's Club stated they would allow me to return the bike.

    Good quality product. Very quiet and smooth. Would have given 5 stars if it was a bit more comfortable. Much better after replacing the seat, but would like more upward adjustment in the handlebars. The preloaded programs are ok but could use more variety. Otherwise we really like it so far.

    As of right now this is one star only because I can't use the bike. There is no resistance on the bike. Pro form will not send a new motor to fix it until they send new wiring first. This is on back Order. Not sure when I will actually get to use this and I already started my ifit membership so that is being wasted as well.

    Awful seat but great bike

    Worked for four days and then stopped letting us change tension. Then the tensioner broke disabling the whole bike.

    Great Addition to my Home Gym
    This bike has been an excellent addition to our fitness room! Our treadmill has the iFit program as well which we loved, so I was very excited to try it out on the bike. It did not disappoint! I love being able to get a good workout, while enjoying gorgeous scenery around the world, and getting one-on-one coaching from experienced trainers. The ride itself is smooth- I am impressed with how quiet the automatic change in resistance is. I can see it being a good workout option for someone who deals with joint pain or can't do high-impact work, because the workouts are steady and smooth. My husband is 6'1'' and I am 5'7'', and (even with the difference in height and weight), this bike works great for both us! It's easy to adjust the seat to fit your needs, and the frame is made of a heavy metal that feels sturdy while exercising. I love that the bike comes with lightweight dumbbells- they've been useful for incorporating upper body work with the iFit trainers. I removed 1 star because when I received this product, the resistance motor wasn't functioning. This issue was quickly addressed by an excellent customer service team. I have been extremely impressed with their prompt replies and willingness to help me resolve this issue. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this bike. Fitness equipment that comes equipped with access to professional trainers/workouts, and is backed by an awesome customer service team, is always worth it to me. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
