Works great, easy to install
We've been using this for five days now and have noticed that our internet is running faster. We had been having issues with streaming, but after watching several movies with no buffering or stopping and starting, we think this router has solved the problem! It was very easy to install by following the booklet, step by step. Be sure to follow both pages. We definitely would recommend this for performance and ease of installation.

Runs way too HOT!
This router gets really hot. Slow internet speed while it runs hot. Now I am using a USB fan to cool it down.

Great Wi-Fi 6 router choice for an upgrade
For faster streaming here, more range to my boat when docked, and less interference in the complex with some 18 routers in range, I ordered up this new router. My old one was a Belkin N300 802.11 b,g,n type with internal antenna, and 100mb ports. After finding my 65" Samsung TV would handle a faster AC type signal and also 5GHz, I chose a Tp-Link Archer AX3000 from Walmart. It's a dual band Wi-Fi 6 model with 4 external antennas, 1Gig ports, beam-forming technology, etc, etc. My PC's Killer software reconfigured to it and ended the "your existing setup is slowing you down" messages. After configuring my Samsung MU8000 TV to the 5G signal, I went from 8-10 mbps to 40-50 mbps down, and my Toshiba Fire TV likewise improved. Cell phone

    Faster WiFi
I got this to replace the one that was given to me by my internet provider. The old one was only 1yr old, but kept disconnecting and slowing down. The TP-Link boosted me with 300% Faster WiFi signals.

    Nice Addition
Nice addition to our multi level home. It helps to strengthen the signal so we can all have a stronger connection wherever we are in the house. The basement seems to be our weakest link and this has helped to ensure consistent connectivity.

Excellent Product for Great Price! Get it here.
This is excellent WiFi Router! Got this after extensive research! Getting an AX3000 Wifi Router with all this features for $130 is great! In amazon this same thing cost more (In Amazon tp link AX1800 cost $129 whereas here that one cost $100). The signal is great! Tested the speed at various location and it is super fast (30 times faster than before)! Happy with the product. The app is easy to use, and all the features work super great. Will soon this product with bad internet (when I move) - will see if the system will stay stable or not.

    Great Solution for Fast Wi-Fi
This TP-Link router is a great solution for extending your wi-fi capacity to accommodate more devices efficiently. The installation for this router was super simple and quick (5 mins to install). The installation manual is straight-forward and easy to follow. I was able to add a laptop and a smartphone to the router seamlessly and noticed faster performance with accessing online content and interacting online. Pretty much, it's just plug and play. Overall, this router is a great option for the present time when families are spending a lot of time home together accessing wi-fi to use their different devices at the same time.

    From 37.3 upload to 138.7
I never realize my Internet speed was so slow. Until I have received Tp-link Ax3000. I use a Standard very expensive modem for my Whole house. My up load was 37.3, good speed rate. Then I hooked up the Tp-Link, 138.7 up load rate! Very Fast! I couldn't believe the deference in speed. I have 3 TVs, 2 tablets, 2 cellphones, thermostat, 3 cameras, and Xbox. Before my cameras was struggling to stay connected To The Internet, now no problems. My thermostat would turn off and on cause it couldn't stay connected to Wi-Fi. Now I have no problems! Thank You Tp-link. I'm 50 and had no problems hooking this up, so it very easy to set up. Very very Much Recommended!

    Faster internet!
With my old router, just uploading pictures took a few minutes which was so aggravating. Once I switched to this one, my pictures uploaded instantly. Switching web pages was also a lot faster. I cannot believe how much faster everything is just by upgrading my router to the TP-Link Archer AX3000. Set up was super easy with the TPLink Tether app. This router is backwards compatible and can connect with some older devices. It has a dual core CPU that allows for a more powerful signal to connect multiple devices without lag. It has four antennas that will transmit to every corner of your house. I have no dead spots in my house and the signal even reaches a good ways outside my house. It balances bandwidth of all connected devices to ensure fair and even connection and streaming. It has USB 2.0 ports for local sharing, play media from the USB and you can access the USB drive when away from home using remote access. I set this up by connecting it to my modem. This isn't a stand alone router so you will need to connect it to a modem or cable mode. The look of this router is a sleek and modern design and is quite thin. In the box, it comes with the router, AC adapter, WIFI info card, instruction booklet and ether net cord. the four antennas are located on the back of the router and are already attached. Overall, I am very happy with this router and I do highly recommend!

    Solved lots of issues here
We always had problems with conductivity when going to our family, which is in the basement. Installed this Archer AX3000 router and issue solved. Works great, looks great and can be wall mounted. Setup did require a call to our cable company but from there it was a typical install.

This will do it for you . . .
The slim router looks well match a “gaming” setup. There are four non-removable, squashed-diamond antennas and lights to tell you connection, wireless status, etc. But the light icons are not very large; you'll have to get very close to read it. Typically, there are also no lights to indicate which of the four router ports are being used. There is an on/off switch, which is handy if you ever need to restart. There is a pushbutton on the back to shut all LED's off to completely darken it. There is also a hardware WPS button. Case screwholes on the bottom allow hanging from a wall. It seems the cabinet has enough cooling slots and is completely silent. But the bottom gets pretty warm, so I'd recommend placing on hard surface. IPv6 is not on by default. There was a firmware upgrade waiting, which improves Surface and AX smartphone usability. The upgrade is painless-- it will check, download, install, and reboot with 2 clicks. You can serve a USB storage device or play media from a connected USB device. You can manage the router on tablet or phone by the TP Tether App, installed by QR code on an included slip sheet or as the wizard runs. The interface smart wizard also runs from your computer upon connection. The GUI is excellent, clear, and provides many useful features. Curiously, it booted to overlapping channel 5 with my stock router on channel 6. I compared performance to my stock Arris modem/router. The TP-Link had very simlar performance until I tilted the outer two antennas almost horizontal to the box. This gave about 2-4 db better signal– especially the 5 Ghz band. So experiment with your install to see. The Intel dual-core processor kept up with any speed my ISP could provide (over 300Mbps). I'd rate it as marginally better. The 2.5GHz defaults to 40Mhz bandwidth. Thankfully, the default wireless password for both networks is just 8 numbers, so it's easy to enter into devices. It's easy to flip to “Access Point” mode in the GUI. You can allow guests to access each other. TP-Link has good products and they provide a 2-year warranty.

    Wow!!!
This router is massive--the included picture shows it, in box, next to my old router. It's twice its size. And, I guess, with its massive size comes massive capabilities. This router is more capable than I am. 'I ain't got time for that.' In today's world, you want your electronics to just work--meaning you don't notice them working because they just do. No one wants slow or lags, and this router is faster than anything I can ever throw at it, meaning it just works without me noticing. Just how it should.

    Wouldn't connect to modem
I consider myself fairly tech savvy and have set up numerous home networks for myself and my relatives; however, I am not a professional. That being said, the AX3000 seemed promising at first but ended in severe disappointment. The unit is sharp looking and comparable to other wireless networks with similar features for the price. The iPhone app is user friendly and easy to navigate. Setup of the wifi network itself is pretty straightforward and was done in less than 10 minutes. The problem arose when connecting to the internet. I spent over an hour attempting to get the router to connect to my internet but never got it to connect. I followed the steps in the included Quick Installation Guide and went through all the trouble shooting steps as well but to no avail. We have a Xfinity and per the help section of the guide I changed our MAC address to clone and power cycled everything. Still, no internet. While the router appears to have good range for both the 2.4 & 5GHz networks, not being able to connect to the internet makes me not able to rate this router above two stars. I'll continue to play with it and will probably end up needing to call customer service but for someone with my skill level and experience, this should have been a quick and easy process. Spending over an hour with no success is just unacceptable.

    Great Router, boosted speed everywhere!
The TP-Link is a great router for anyone having connection issues or notice slower wifi throughout their home. This router will support up to 3 gbps or 3000 mbps. Out of the box the router is easy to set up and comes with clear instructions for any beginners who need help hooking it up. The instructions clearly stated where to hook up the router for existing modems or no modem configuration. Once hooked up, you simply download the app and follow the easy instructions for initial set up. The process from opening the box to complete set up was about 10 minutes. I ran speed tests before and after set up and was surprised by the boost in the wifi signal strength. I currently have 500 mbps with my internet provider and would only get between 60-100 mbps throughout my home with my previous wifi router. With this new router I have consistently tested speeds at 250-300 mbps download and 20 mbps upload throughout my home. The increase is around 300% and is amazing. I have noticed a huge change in online gaming, streaming, and video game connectivity. Overall this router is a great item for anyone looking to increase their wifi speeds and eliminate any slower or laggy connection issues. Amazing product!

    Great range
I recently bought TP-Link Archer AX3000 to setup my wireless network with my Verizon fios internet. My needs are more than most households but not so extensive that a normal off the shelf router would not suffice. I have placed the router in the middle of the house where it is at equal distance from all corners of the house and next to the steps going up... After set up (wireless), we have a great signal, speed and large area of coverage inside and out. This product is 5 stars. I have read many reviews with pros and cons with this product. The router works exactly the way the packaging says it's supposed to work. You need to make sure it is set up correctly. The setup was simple and quick. I configured my network name and passwords exactly as my older router which was a big help as I did not have to go to each individual device and update Wi-Fi name and password. Setup time took less than 20. I did a speed test and the download speed went from 80 Mbps to 180 MBPS. These speeds can vary. Range is awesome. No other words for it. This is a safe buy for a medium use household.
