Can't connect with wifi
My only problem is connecting to the wifi. The directions are so confusing. Unfortunately I'm not a high tech person.. Tried 3-4 times and finally gave up. Had to connect with hard wire. Shouldn't be that difficult. .

this printer is the worst
This printer was ok for a couple months, until it disconnected from the internet. I cannot get it to reconnect. I purchased this computer to printer to print documents while working from home. This was a complete waste of money. I can't get it to print at all.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/19/2023Great all in one printerI got this printer in Mar. 2023 and its easy to set it up wirelessly via the Canon app but I can see where it would cause problems for people who are not tech savvy I used my cell phone to put the printer on my network just make sure the cell is on 2.4GHz wi-fi channel and follow the instructions took less than 5 minutes to setupTopDawg

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/24/2023printer heads not spraying ink.I sent an earlier review on this printer today but forgot to mention that it can't be repaired. Since I bought this product before the pandemic there's no warranty on it. I called a local repair person and he said that since it was a cheap printer, I should get another one. That's not going to happen.Davy

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/24/2023PRINTER HEAD NOT WORKING!I bought this model before the pandemic so it's out of warranty. Never used it that much printed some documents and photos. After the ink cartridges ran out, I bought another pair, but prints came out with thin white strips. I did the maintenance instructions even using deep cleaning but, in the end, it got worse. I can print black and white prints that come out purple, so no color prints from this piece of crap! I should have read the reviews on the unit ( average rating is 2 and a half stars), I bought the darn thing to print a few borderless photos but that is not going to happen.Davy

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/13/2023My second MG3620 -- can't go wrong. This model is inexpensive yet the best printer I ever owned. I had the exact same model for 5 or 6 years and it died. I liked it enough to buy the exact same model. I had a hard time installing it because I forgot to delete the old one before installing the new one -- my bad. But the Canon tech rep stayed with me on the line until all was complete.Unknown

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/14/2023Printing and Scanning CompetentlyThe Canon PIXMA MG3620 does the job for printing and scanning. The directions and user guidance provided neglects to note that to enable wireless printing if you have a dual band router, the computer must connect to the same band that the printer connects to. The Canon printer only connects to the 2.4GHz band. If the printer is connect to the 2.4 band and the computer connects to the 5GHz band, they are unable to communicate. It does a good job of printing and scanning. It has a very useful feature in that it can print on both sides of the paper. Many similar models are not able to do double sided printing.Nick G

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/22/2023Good Printer - Bad WiFi SetupI've had this printer for years. It's a good little printer that saves space and has all necessary features for a small home office. The USB install works well. I haven't had an issue with USB installs, and I've had to set it up for 3 different occasions. The WiFi setup is a major pain in the butt... It always takes me over an hour to set up since I always forget what I did last time to make it work successfully. For future readers, here are some tips that will probably help you do a successful setup: 1. Make sure your VPN is disabled during setup. 2. Uninstall ALL previous Canon Software and Drivers from previous FAILED attempts at setting it up via wireless connection 3. Download Canon MG3620 Setup .exe from your region specifically (Not all MG3600 setups work, so make sure you get the USA region for the MG3620 model.) 4. I've only been able to set it up for WiFi via Temporary USB Connection, and there's a little step that's easy to miss: Press "Stop" on the Printer before continuing the last part of the setup. I mistakenly left the "WiFi light" blinking a few times during setup and it caused communication errors. Hope that saves someone a headache. Cheers!iNeedTwoDrink

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/14/2023Almost perfectI bought this printer because my Pixma MG3220 served me well for 9 years, and I expect the MG3620 will do the same. But I worry that I might have the same problem as the MG3220, i.e. errors because the ink absorber pads were full. Instead of making the pads easy to clean/replace, Canon expects you to take the printer in for service! This is an inexpensive printer and the cost of a service visit would exceed the value of the printer. Throughout the manual are references to the "service center". Ridiculous. Canon should revise the manual to provide repair instructions for every problem.walbany
