3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/25/2022Consider this before you buy.I‘ll cut to the chase… Pros: Rare/Hard to find for this low price. Fast shipping, like took them a day to deliver. Shipping was free, I bought two of them.. thats free shipping on a packages that weighed little over 100lbs each. Cons: Poor quality, color was not accurate, not machined for a smooth surface. The weights are painted like most dark grey hex dumbbells. They arrived blemished and one had a decent size paint chip. The paint will probably chip away over time do to the nature of how most olympic weights are used. Overall: Spoke to an associate on the phone and they were willing to take the items back, i told them how inconvenient that would be for both parties. They refunded me 20% of my purchase. I think they could have went a little higher but i was content. I spent $144 on each, before the damage discount and not including MA taxes. It was a lot better than driving somewhere to find them used off facebook market place or craigslist.Jake

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/22/2022Does what it shouldIt's a weight, it fits on the bar, what else do you need? Is it beautiful? No. Does it weigh 100 lbs? Probably pretty close. Will it build muscle? It can, but you have to get off you lazy butt. Is it a weight? Yes, yes it is.joseph

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/21/2022Decent price for the functionThese iron plates serve their purpose. The cost was in my budget, but the quality could be better. A few of the plates were not fully coated or were slightly damaged in transit. The 45 lbs plates have a big deviation in weight. Lastly, the Olympic sized holes are not uniform. A few of the plates had to be sanded in order for them to fit on my power bar. If you are trying to build a home gym on a budget they are the best option I could find. These plates serve their function quite well minus a few defects. Overall, I do plan on buying more plates in the future.Brendan

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/18/2022Wrong colorThe picture shows black weight but arrived dark gray. The box they came in also said they were black. The weights came and all turned up as 44 lbs on the dot so not terribly far offphil

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/11/2022Incorrect picturePicture should be updated. Picture of the product is black but actually came as smoke gray(like in description). One of the plates came in at 42.2 lbs and will be returning. The other 3 plates were 45.4-45.6 which is to be expected. Decent price with free shipping to the house.phil

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/18/2021Poor qualityThe good? They're weights and I'll use them. The bad? Whatever coating they have on them, is very poorly applied. Hardened drips, places without the coating, and dried coating extending into the weight plate holes. Yes, that can be removed, but doing so exposes the plate in that spot. Then, I found chunks of iron randomly missing from a few plates. It was like that from the factory, because it's covered by the coating. Also, the silver painting on the letters and numbers on a few of them were smudged. Well, at least they're inexpensive for what they are. Wait a minute, no they're not. But again, they're weights and I'll use them.Jim

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/05/2021Proper Manufacturing and Quality Control are non eBEWARE. CAP Olympic plates are below average and poor quality. This was my second CAP Olympic plate (Old School Olympic plate) and it had far more manufacturing flaws than my first CAP Olympic plates (12 sided grip Olympic plates). Proper Manufacturing and Quality Control are basically non existent. First off the 2 inch center hole on one side of the plate was OVAL SHAPED and dented on the edge of the oval. In addition to the oval shaped center hole, the overall appearance looked deformed. This is due to poor casting. The edges were not precise, this plate was not "square", everything was way off. For example, the Lip edge (grip) had dents/curves in the lip and was rough. Small dents littered the plate along with small pebble like bumps are immediately noticeable. The finish of the plate was rough not smooth in some areas and the plate had a nice gloss finish, but was dull in some areas, so obviously they missed a few spots. Plus, I would suspect the finish will chip instantly or eventually. Amazingly, with all these flaws, they still managed to pass this plate through their so called quality control. This plate should of never left their factory. I paid $79.49 for this plate , which is grossly over priced. CAP Olympic plates should be priced way below $1.00 per lb, with the exception of their "machined or milled" plates, which are difficult to find. Walmart made good and refunded my money without any hesitations (online purchase). Invest your hard earned cash on higher quality Olympic plates. The higher price will be a punch to the gut. But ultimately, you will be satisfied with your purchase.Leandro
