Did not hold curls for thick hair
I’ve used many curling irons and had heard good things about this. I have thick hair so I eventually made it up to the highest settings. The curls would look decent initially but they did not hold like other irons I have used.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/27/2021Good Iron, But No Auto-Shut-off is BadIt seems to curl my super-fine hair, although not well and I had to increase the heat from 1 (suggested for fine hair) to 14 to get it to curl at all, although my hair does not curl easily. I only bought this curling iron (a 1" and a 1.25") because my hair had been breaking from my Hot Tools irons and I needed one that does not damage fine, hi-lighted hair. The only real complaint I have is that it has no auto-shut off. Electricity is very expensive, so it is not good finding these had been on all day! I now read reviews about burning hair, which is what I thought they didn't do! Is there a curling iron out there that doesn't damage hair when used properly????Marilyn

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/02/2021Wonderful Curling Iron and Shipped Very QuicklyThis size curling iron is perfect for my shoulder length hair. It is the best I have used so far. It also shipped very quickly- I got it within the same week of ordering it which was much appreciated! This is the same brand of curling iron my hair stylist uses and I can see why she recommends them!McKenna

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/17/2020Itâs fine..... buuuut..?I looked for a really long time, mainly bc what my Hot Tools curling iron did to my hair- VERY bad OMG. Neither WalMart nor Hot Tools has yet been available comment. They need to be though. About this Babyliss curling iron though- Iâm wondering if the grip of the item should always be warm to the touch? The one I have is. I keep it unplugged and off except for when Iâm using it. The grip is always always always warm. Not the barrel, not the cord- refer to image, itâs the grip. Iâd like to know if thatâs typical, seems a bit dangerous/strange to me. TYKIP
