Tablet that's Onn the mark!
I have been in the market to replace my aging android 6.0 edition tablet for a few months now. Most of the apps would no longer update and had become obsolete and useless. When I came across the Onn 10.1 edition I was very impressed with sleek and lightweight design it offered. Commanding a 32 GB storeage with micro SD slot and 2 GHz Octio-core processor and 3 GB Ram with 10.1 LCD touchscreen. The ease of set up was great with the pairing of my old tablet to download my current applications to my new Onn tablet. The clarity of the screen and crispness of the colors really jump out to you. The speed of interaction is a welcomed asset. I would highly recommend this tablet for anyone looking to get a replacement unit or for their very first tablet. The price is very competitive with similar tablets with comparable systems and hardware. Tablet comes with easy to use user manual, AC adapter, and USB type- C charging cable. I am very satisfied with this tablet!

Onn 10.1 Tablet
I mostly use Apple products, but bought a cheaper tablet for my twin boys. I don't have many games on my IPad for them, and this tablet claimed to have a lot. The screen size is the perfect size and the weight is great. It came with a charger which Apple has stopped including. At $130, it was about 5x cheaper than an IPad which is a huge plus because they are rough on everything. I searched the web with it and it searched quickly. My problem with the tablet is I logged in with my gmail account and tried to access the games to check them out. It would not let me log into the kids games, it forced me to create an account for my kid in order to play. It wanted name, age, and email address. No way! I provided incorrect information because that is too much info to provide on minors. This is the reason why my review lost so many stars.

Battery life not good, on the one I lookgot anyway
I do love this tablet only thing it does not stay charged as long as they said it would. Couple hours tops when I play a single simple game off line. Haven't tried Netflix movie yet. Think it would run out very quickly.

    Upgrade time! nice update, walmart!
OMW! I didn't expect such speed and features from a budget tablet. I love the kids mode, I didn't even realize Google had such a thing or it may be something on the onn series. I purchased an onn tablet last year and greatly enjoyed it so was excited to see the updated model. The screen quality has greatly improved along with the speed. I'm overall impressed and glad I upgraded. Now I'l have to sell my old one as this one is a keeper!

The best value for money tablet in the market
This tablet is perfect for my day to day casual use. My everyday casual use includes media consumption, web browsing, social media and occasional video calls. This tab handles all that with ease. I also use it for light gaming and face no issues at all. Couldn't have asked for a better device at this price with full access to Google services. I would highly recommend this product for someone looking who is looking for a budget option

    Love it!
I couldn't be happier with my Onn. 10.1 Tablet Pro, 32GB Storage, 3GB RAM, Android 11, 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Processor, FHD Display. The tablet is fast running and the graphics are amazing. Crystal Clear viewing with so many great options. I love the fact that I can create more than one account on the tablet. That way my daughter can use it and will have her own account I keep her stuff on. She enjoys play games on it they run smooth and fast. I enjoy using it for everyday browsing and a quick movie every now and then. It is a great tablet for the price it is thin and lightweight. If you have a child I would suggest getting the case to go with it. It has a kid's face that you can set it up to where it is safe for your children to explore pre-installed apps. There is also movie provider apps to choose from if you subscribe to one of the streaming media sources. The tablet was extremely easy to set up I love that it comes with a C type charger, C Chargers last longer and I wish that all electronic devices with start using a C charger. I myself would highly recommend it. It has been a breeze for me to set up use and I have not had any issues with it.

    ONN Pro 10.1" Tablet
This tablet comes with Android 11 and 3GB Ram. The screen resolution is 1080P and it looks good. The tablet comes preloaded with a Walmart app accessed through a navigation icon at bottom of screen. The tablet has USB Type-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The tablet does come with Google services so you can easily get to the Play Store. The tablet comes with a 5-megapixel camera but that is probably not going to be used for anything other than casual photo's. If you need to take quality photo's there are more expensive tablets that would better serve that purpose. Overall this tablet provides a lot of bang for the buck and it makes a great choice for an entry level tablet. I used it on a recent airline trip and had no issues and liked the better resolution that comes with this 10" model.

Nice tablet for kindle and movies...
This ONN 10.1 inch Tablet Pro works well right out of the box. The shipping screen protector walks you through set-up (see photo). At 1st I inserted a 64gb memory card for downloading movies and books....this caused constant freezing, malfunction, and crashing. I tried resetting to factory settings twice, but it continued to malfunction. I went online to research and read that a 32gb card is recommended. I reset once again to factory settings and switched to a 32gb memory card. It worked! I set it up and downloaded my apps like kindle, netflix, hulu, etc. The tablet was easy to set up after the memory card reduction, and it's easy to navigate. I will be using it often. It charges swiftly. The cons: battery life is fairly short, but thankfully it recharges fast. The screen does not resist fingerprints. The wifi antennae is weak when compared to my other devices....I often have trouble connecting to wifi from the ONN Tablet. Lack of cases/cover options for sale. All in all it will work for my reading and movies...which was what I needed it for. Get a 32gb memory card.

    Very good tablet.
My daughter was very happy when the onn. 10.1" Tablet Pro arrived. She has another tablet that is smaller and she was complaining about lag all the time. I handed her the new tablet after following the steps for initial setup. The tablet comes with a Quick Start Guide that gives you an idea of what it is going to be and a product guide. It was very easy and fast getting it ready. It is mentioned in one of the guides that the performance can be affected while some updates are downloaded in the background but I didn't notice any issues related. The tablet characteristics are: Model number 100003562, has 32GB of internal storage, Android 11 (latest version), Micro SD slot for up to 128GB of additional storage. It came with a very handy built in button to access the apps for Walmart, Sam's Club and VUDU for easy shopping and streaming. The button is a miniature Walmart logo on the bottom left of the screen. It also comes with an Entertainment space. In the entertainment space you can access many apps. It came with google assistant, Kids Space, Youtube Kids and others. My daughter installed the ibisPaint X and FlipaClip apps for drawing and editing animations. She says that the tablet runs smoothly without any lag. She used it everyday since it arrived. Overall, it is a very good tablet.

Lightweight and easy to set up
My old IPAD was no longer able to be upgraded/updated and this ONN 10.1" Tablet is the perfect replacement. I was able to set it it up within two hours after plugging it in to activate the battery. It came with directions that were easy to follow and instructive. The AC adapter and a charging cord were also included. The screen is crisp and bright and the battery lasted longer than anticipated. Keeping it plugged in while reading may also help to stop the battery from draining. I plan to create an account (Google Kids Space) for my grandson for learning and games and I am sure he will be thrilled. That this tablet is slim and lightweight is a plus, however I will look for a cover to prevent any scratches or other damage. I am satisfied, impressed and would recommend this ONN tablet for anyone looking to replace an old one.

    Nice Little Tablet
A zippy little tablet that is budget friendly. Price point was great. Has lots of storage with room to grow. Cameras are not the best but there if you need them. I mainly use this as my tv as I exclusively use streaming apps to watch. They stream well with little issue. In the photos attached the taller screen is the onn tablet and the shorter screen is an old apple ipad. screen resolution is very very similar. If I had not had them side by side I wouldn't have been able to tell a difference. Pros: budget friendly, great screen size, lightweight Con: camera quality (however thats not a deal breaker especially since I have a phone with me at all times) Highly recommend.

    Great upside down tablet!
This is a tough review to do because I wasn't impressed at first. But then after working with it for a while and customizing it to my liking, I have grown to like it and it is actually a pretty decent tablet if you keep your expectations in check. This is the latest iteration of this tablet. This one comes with Android 11. That's the good part. The display, though full HD, is mediocre at best. It's not IPS and the viewing angle are not good. But this is a tablet and you're not going to watch it from angles. It has no coating to keep fingerprints at bay so keep a microfiber cloth handy or get a screen protector and you should be ok. You'll really notice the fingerprints in light rooms. The back is aluminium and has a rough feel but you get use to it. Let's look at the software. You have the little Walmart icon on the navigation bar. It brings up a few Walmart apps. On previous versions this was the only bloatware on the device. On this new one when you swipe left of the home page you're greeted with what you think is ad city. What the heck is this? Google in it's infinite wisdom has teemed up with some tablet manufactures to give us “Entertainment Space”. Oh glory be. It's like having Google TV on your Tablet. A whole page of dishing you movies and TV to buy and watch, along with games from the play store and books from Google or other accounts you may have. It's basically a media content aggregator. This takes the place of where Google discovery use to be. For more info do a search for “google entertainment space” and you'll find a blog that gives you all the information you need on this (Notice that Netflix isn't a provider as Google and Netflix love to fight). So Walmart is marketing this as a media consumption device. And if that's what you want it for, the Entertainment Space actually works pretty good for that. So don't knock it till you tried it. Now me personally, I don't watch TV and movies on a Tablet. I have a TV for that. So luckily there is a way to get rid of it. The easiest way is to go to setting/apps, find Entertainment space and disable it. Walla, it's gone and you won't see it again. Another way is to install a different launcher. And if you want to get rid of the Walmart navigation icon I suggest using swipe navigation. There, all your bloatware is gone. In fact since using swipe navigation on my phone the past last year, I can't live without it. So learn how to use it an you'll thank me later. One of the nice things about Android 11 is the ability to use swipe navigation with other launchers. In Android 10, any time you used a 3rd party launcher, swipe navigation was disabled. This has been fixed in 11. Yea!! My biggest grip about this tablet is this. Android apps aren't really made for landscape mode except for video. Most of my time is spent in portrait mode. The problem here is it seems like this tablet is upside down. There are some apps that only work in portrait mode and do not rotate. When you open these apps the only way to view them is with the volume and power buttons at the bottom. Open the camera and you'll see what I mean. When you open the camera app, in order to use it, the volume rocker is at the bottom. Even the camera lens is at the bottom. Ridiculous. How are you suppose to take a picture with the lens at the bottom? Have you ever seen a phone like this? Severe software blunder. I sure hope they fix it in an update because I'm tired of accidentally hitting the volume buttons when I'm using this table. The buttons and camera lens should be at the top. The sound does not get very loud on this but at least it's in stereo. Speed wise it's ok. Not super fast but doesn't lag and much better than another tablet in this price range by a well know brand that also makes clocks. You'll get 10 hours of battery life at 50 percent brightness. About half that at full. The good thing is that it quick charges. It will do a full charge in under two hours or less. For the price you really can't beat it. I'd gladly pay an extra $25 for a better display.

This tablet isn't perfect, but it's really good
On the positive side: It's surprisingly fast. The box describes the display as crystal-clear and I have to agree. It is nice and sharp, particularly at 100% brightness. It has a micro 32GB SD card slot so that you can add additional storage capacity. It has a USB type C input which is nice because you don't have to worry about putting the plug in backwards. It boots very quickly It plays games smoothly The front facing camera is good enough for Zoom or video calls The volume isn't particularly loud but it is clear and loud enough to be acceptable There is a reasonably priced, good quality keyboard available for this tablet. On the negative side: Although the glass face of the tablet is appears to be smooth, if your fingers are even a tiny bit damp, it has a subtle “grippiness” that prevents your fingers from sliding across it smoothly. The result is like having a computer mouse that doesn't work properly. They really should have used different glass on the face. Depending on the contrast of the object you're attempting to photograph, the quality of the back facing camera varies from mediocre to bad. I wouldn't expect it to be as good as a single-lens reflex camera (SLR), but it's even bad compared many cell phones. When the battery monitor said the tablet was 100% charged I went to Settings, in the Settings menu, under battery it said that the battery would last 3 hours, which contradicts the 10-hour battery life that is printed on the box. In my experience with this device, a 10-hour battery life seems impossible. Even if you kept screen dimmed and had the tablet go to sleep in the shortest possible time I doubt the battery could last that long but even if it did, draining any battery until it's completely dead can drastically shorten its lifespan. At maximum display brightness the battery went from 100% to 80% in 30 minutes, down to 67% in 60 minutes, down to 54% in 90 minutes and down to 42% in 120 minutes. In order to avoid reducing the life expectancy of the battery I didn't discharge it more than that. Some useful things to know about the tablet that are neither good nor bad: After installing a half-dozen small apps the system reported that 33% of the storage was used, leaving 21 GB free, so maybe it's a good thing that this device allows you to increase your memory size by inserting a micro SD card Since the back of this tablet stays warm when the tablet is on, you could use it for a heater on a cold winter day. . . The little asterisk at the bottom of the screen is the “Walmart” button to bring up Walmart related icons (Sam's Club, Walmart and Vudu). There is a bit of bloat-ware included, but not an excessive amount.

    Great for on the go
I have a Samsung Galaxy and was able to press share with device and in less then 5mins all my work info emalis, apps ect. Went to the tablet with out me having to transfer everything by hand like when you get a new phone. I was shocked by how quick the set up was and very easy to use. Would recommend for anyone who gets sick of having a phone on all the time, and still able to do the same work on a bigger scale.

Basic Budget Tablet with a Few Flaws
Overall I'm sort of on the fence on whether to give this tablet 3 or 4 stars and would probably give it 3.5 but I'm giving it 4 because I think that's fair. It's light and comfortable to hold but does feel a little bit cheaper and will definitely need a case (which they do recommend). The front and back both show finger prints horribly which is pretty annoying but once there's a case on it that wouldn't be an issue. It runs quickly through all the apps I've tried on it (Netflix, Candy Crush, Google Chrome, Gmail, etc) and the touch screen is very responsive. It was easy to set up and the Android operating system is essentially the same as all other Androids. Set up was quick and easy and there's an easy to use task manager which is vital for me. It has 32 gigs of internal storage that is about 25% used by the operating system and base apps and it allows up to a 128 gig memory card. I love that it was easy to adjust the size of the keyboard so it's small enough to actually type on (or it can stay larger for people with vision issues or larger fingers, etc) and you can swipe to type which makes things much faster and easier. It was fully charged when it arrived and so far I've found it lasts about 2-3 days of moderate use before needing to be charged. It came with a charger and cord and uses a USB-C cable which makes things convenient. I do like that it has a massive battery charging indicator on the screen. It also has a setting that can be turned on so that you only have to lift it to wake it up instead of pressing the power button and I didn't think it would be that big of a difference but it is pretty great. I did immediately change the security so that it didn't lock after 1 minute though because that is the worst! There are a few reasons that I would question buying one for myself. Both the front and back cameras are pretty bad. They both take ages to focus and even in HDR setting the pictures are ok but not nearly as clear as the ones I take with my phone. They're a vast improvement over my 3 year old tablets photos though and honestly that's not why I would buy a tablet anyway so that's not a deal breaker. The bigger frustration is that I've noticed that when I click a link from my email the tablet will sometimes just close out of the Gmail app altogether and I'll lose the page I was on completely. It's only happened maybe 4 or 5 times but that's enough to really drive me crazy and the reason I was torn on the star rating. That's the only app that does it though so I'll just make sure to remember to open whatever I'm working on in Google Chrome instead of going through the Gmail links to avoid the issue. So, tl;dr it's a basic tablet that would be an awesome starter tablet and actually a pretty great value but not really the fanciest or best technology.

    Great for work and surfing!
I am writing this on the onn. 10.1" Tablet Pro with a cheap bluetooth keyboard linked. They work great together and I haven't seen any lag or interference whatsoever. The tablet itself is not the fastest but it is close. If you're looking for something that you can work and surf with this is it. The charge and usage times are quite good and for that reason I am going to keep using this for my work and general internet use. The photos I've submitted for this review were taken with the 5 MP rear camera. For the price point this is a steal!

Very nice 10 inch tablet by Onn.
I received this tablet and was really shocked at how nice, reactive, easy to use and worth the price it was. I had really never thought of buying a non-brand name tablet, tv or sound bar. I had previously bought a Onn. Tv, and it has been great compared to the Lg tv I paid double for and it only lasted a year until it just wouldn't turn on. So, I had previous luck with this brand. The tablet is light weight, so easy to operate. It isn't loaded down with junk apps and the one's it does have can be disabled or uninstalled. That's great in my book. It loads quickly, can handle multiple pages being opened at the same time. It is just really nice and very easy to maneuver through the tablet and set it up to your preferences. And I love that the cable to charge it with is Not that awful micro usb cable samsung uses on their phones, It's the same cable Motorola uses, the USB type C. It's so much to plug up and charge.

    Very good.
The onn 10.1 Tablet Pro is awesome. I was very impressed with sleek and lightweight design. The clarity of the screen and crispness of the colors really jump out to you. It has a sleek look with easy to access buttons. It's wide screen makes it suitable for reading and watching videos with comfort. The screen is clear and the clarity is so clear it is almost too much! When I go onto the social media sites I am just in awe at the visual definition and the detail of every site. I can see that no corners were cut with this tablet at all. It is very easy to start up. I would say it took me about 15 minutes, at the most to go from box to first time usage. The price is very competitive with similar tablets with comparable systems and hardware. Tablet comes with easy to use user manual, AC adapter, and USB type- C charging cable. The 10.1" screen is a nice size and the 2.0ghz Octa Core processor works well for this device. The front and rear cameras work good. I really like is the ability to insert a larger SD card to increase the ability to increase the storage capacity as needed is a great feature. I haven't tested it on games, but YouTube is going great. Overall, this is a great tablet for surfing the web. I tried looking for a keyboard with a stand for it, but it has been hard to find. Nonetheless I'm pleased with the product. The battery life is long lasting. The touchscreen works seamlessly as well. I would recommend this tablet absolutely.

Good Deal if You're A Google User
First let me say I'm a "casual" tablet user - web browsing, streaming Hulu, checking email is about it for me. No games, don't take photos so that's how I'm going to review this. The tablet is light, slim, easy to handle and has a bright screen. Before I got this, I looked for reviews of this tablet and everyone complained about finger prints. I haven't experienced that problem and haven't put a screen cover on it yet. Setup was simple. Wifi detected easily (you can also connect to a hot spot), privacy and security options presented at the start and option to sign into your Google account to access all your account features - email, drive, etc. If you don't have a Google account, you can create one - but if don't want to be part of the Google eco-system, about the only thing you'll be able to do with this tablet is browse the web. You can't download apps without an account. There's a search box for quick web searches or you can use the built in Chrome browser. Video quality was good/no issues streaming. Just for the heck of it, I took a photo. It was okay quality/not as sharp as my camera. There's a forward facing camera for video conferencing and thanks to the not so great camera, I looked pretty good! Also took some videos and found the quality was pretty decent/better than stills. For my purposes, battery life has been fine. Depending on what I'm doing I can certainly get a full day's use out of one charge. I do charge it every night. Note that this uses a type C USB connector/not the micro USB connector.

    Turn it onn!
A durable, light weight, slim and sleek tablet! I'm so impressed with the onn 10.1 Tablet Pro!!! Easy set up and easy to hold, no slipping. Nice size screen! You're guided on how to start when you open the box. There is a removable film which instructs you thru the first steps. An included booklet, offers further support. When I plugged in my onn Tablet Pro, it flashed showing it was charged up to 84%. I waited several minutes to fully charge it up, before I turned it on, per instructions. Once turned on, the onn tablet did all the work! I was signed into google in a flash. Was at the home page and ready to have some fun! In my personal opinion, this tablet is awesome!!!! It has everything I want or need in a tablet! Beautiful picture, crisp and sharp. Audio was clear, with good volume. To me, it has really nice power. I didn't experience lag, loading issues, freezing, pausing or any slow down when surfing, playing games or watching a movie. Really pleased! The touch screen is smooth and simple to operate. Easy to maneuver. Onn has done a superb job in making an affordable, premium tablet. Fabulous! A nice bonus value of a $5.00 Vudo credit, $10 Walmart ebook/audiobook credit and Walmart discount included in box. Features I love about this onn Tablet Pro: - As a frequent Walmart shopper, I like that the Sam's Club/Walmart/Grocery/Vudu apps are already included for easy access in "Your Favorite Apps". - The ability to screen capture, if you press in the on/off switch - Quick and easy to add apps - Ready to use camera and video function. Nice picture quality! - Compatible with Bluetooth capable devices -Well organized and so simple to operate!!!! I wouldn't hesitate to purchase if you're looking for a well functioning Tablet! I'm happy to have it!
