Will interfer with the doorknob
Got this to contain a puppy in a bedroom while unattended. It was easy to install and has clips at the bottom to adjust which way the door will swing but you can leave both clips up and the door will swing both ways (thats convenient). It is tall enough but it covers the doorknob and wont let the door shut (that was a bummer)

Poor and don't meet our needs
Item is not meeting our needs
If we put the extender it doesn't fit and too long, if we remove the extender it doesn't fit and too small.
The main thing is not adjustable coz of metal body

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/09/2023Sturdy gate to keep my pups outTook me around 30minutes to put it together however it's a sturdy gate. I am just not that mechanically inclined, but it was easy to follow instructions. I'm using it in a bedroom doorway to keep my dogs out and have the ability of keeping the bedroom door open so air recycles well, otherwise can get musty. I didn't mount it with hardware, it's only pressured against the threshold to hold in place, just keep screwing u til it's braces well. I really like the slide button to open and the door and it opens both ways. Added some photosCassie

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/05/2023Easy to operate, not for small petsPretty easy to put together and operate. I liked that it uses tension to keep it in place instead of hardware. Simply didn't serve my purposes because my kitten could squeeze right through the bars. ?Jaime

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/10/2016Decent gate for the price.I needed to quickly find a reasonably priced gate for a sudden dog rescue, and since I needed two, they had to 1) be inexpensive, 2) have a latching gate, 3) be fast to set up, 4) not be permanent (i.e., not screwed into the wall). This gate met those needs quite well. There are receptacles for the pressure pads, and I would highly recommend using them if the gate is to be used for children. For my pet use, I just needed them in place, and they stay quite well with the right tension. They're durable enough that I think they'll be great in a few years when the grandkids come along. Of course, I'll mount the pressure pad receptacles at that point. Beware the price and buy online since they're much more expensive on the shelf in the stores.omnifice

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/13/2016The best thing that we foundThis gate saved our life, before we had small and short gate that we have to go over and we spilled a lot of stuff. But now we don't have to and use only one hand. The product fit perfectly to our door and hallway without any adjustments at all. It function perfect, no tool requires, easy to install and easy to use. I told my mom and my sister about this also after I got it couble day and fast shipping also. They both got 4 of them. The price is perfect if it more expensive than what we got then we couldn't afford it at all. It is life saver for us.Tiwa

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/08/2016No fault of Walmart but Regalo fell shortI bought 3 of these to keep a cat from going and sharpening his claws on the mattresses in the bedrooms. They work fine except for 2 things, one of which bothers me a lot. One of the gates had a plastic piece on the end of the square metal top of the gate that was broken. (It must have been cracked initially. Then when the bate was assembled and used, it broke off as I found half of it on the floor the next day.) It is very small and just keeps the top pin in place and up/down play out of the gate when it is used. I called Regalo to see if I could get a replacement for the piece and they told me I had to return the whole thing to Walmart! It would have cost them less than a dollar or two to replace it, including mailing! (They said that they don't have replacements for that piece.) I couldn't believe how inflexible they were, how inefficient and how wasteful it would be for me to do that. I finally just got an o-ring and put it in between to keep the up/down play out.... The second thing I do not like is that it swings only one way. There is a metal piece that stops the gate from moving in both directions. I think it would be a better design if it swung in both directions or if there was a part that a user could install to determine the direction they want it to swing in. The good parts are that it is sturdy and is a good value for the price.ATLC
