Shortens the time/severity of a cold
This is good to use if you have a full-blown cold. It does seem to shorten the length of time it hangs around and the severity of the symptoms. So glad they were able to bring this back in the nasal swab form minus the zinc which was causing taste/smell problems. Good going!

I tried them and my husband did not. I seemed to be getting better much faster than he did. I always make sure to blow nose as good as possible prior to application. You can immediately tell the difference. Brings back sense of smell. If you're deciding between these or the nasal spray -pick the swabs 100%. You will not be disappointed.Breanna

Though our grandson says he discovered there is no Zinc in the Zicam -- a surprise to us; we never thought to check -- we now use it preventively before leaving the house and going out in public.elderdaughter

These are easy to use and dry fast so your nasal passages aren't uncomfortable. There is enough product that two people can use one application as long as you use single qtips for each application so no one is double-dipping lol!lisa

Kinda weird to put a swab up your nose but the results make that a non-issue after the first use. Make sure to press your nose closed for 10 seconds after applying though.Rachel
