Does the job
We are happy with the vacuum- it does the job. The Shark transitions from hardwood to carpet and tile fine. We had to move and or replace the door stoppers because they turn off the switch on the side, I wish the switch was on the top. We had to put wedges is a few doors so the robot didnt lock itself in a room. The battery does not make it through one cycle of our first floor- (2400 sq. Ft.).

Mommy's Shark doo doo doo doo doo
We have run Winston on a schedule for four days in a row now. He picks up twice the amount of pet hair that our old RoboVac did. He did a pretty good job of mapping our home. He has not gotten stuck anywhere, when our old one did 3-4 times per run. The purple indicates where he has cleaned. The white spots are where furniture was in his way. The most impressive part for me: I have two cats and a Belgian Shepherd. Fur on fur on fur. I have not cleaned the brush roll once in the past four days.

    Not a Suzie Homemaker
My wife has been wanting one of these for years. I asked why would you spend that much money on a toy? Well, her sister has had one and friends and My own kids have one. After deep research comparing the different companies and different models of the Shark I purchased this one. Completely Amazed. This is not a toy like a suzie homemaker but a well made, quality product. Works great in adjusting to rugs and carpet, tile, wood floors and a/c vents. This little booger will teach you to keep your socks, shoes, and underbritches off the floor.

This is the droid I'm looking for.
Named him R2D2 and Alexa knows its name! Definitely worth the purchase. I have 2 long haired cats and this thing rocked! I also have hardwood floors so dust and hair like to scatter everywhere, but no match for this droid. So glad friend recommended me to finally get a robot vacuum. Does take a few times for it to 'map' the apartment but worth it in the end. I also have a 2 bedroom apartment but not let it go into the bathroom incase the cats miss the litterbox and the vacuum accidently goes over poop/pee.

    Excellent job
I love this shark robot vacuum! It maps out my rooms and vacuums in straight lines instead of all willy-nilly like others. We recently removed all of our carpet and put lvt down, we have 2 dogs that shed constantly, this shark robot vacuum has been a life saver.

    Reliable vacuum
This vacuum is very nicely built machine. I own shark v750 model and when this one was selling with the discount I did not hesitate to get it for my downstairs area. This vacuum is not as loud as the other model. It picks up a lot of dust and debris. It mapped my house accurately and provides info after each run. I noticed it needs light to be more accurate and to avoid obstacles better. Overall I am very satisfied with this machine.

    AMAZING!!!! Buy it!!!
This little guy is AWESOME! (I named mine Rowbee, lol) Great suction, hauls right over just about anything! He even cleans off the boot tray! So floor transition is not a concern! Does a wonderful job on rugs, I have some pretty high piled soft rugs and he never gets stuck! I have a small home, he cleans about 600 square feet in about 45-60 min I waited a couple weeks to review to be sure it wasn't excitement making me say such positive things. I would recommend this to EVERYONE! You won't be disappointed! The only thing I had to modify was the charging dock. It needs something to hold it down, otherwise the robot pushes it around a bit. But inused a sticky washable phone grip thingy underneath, worked great!

    Never knew I needed it.
Didn't think I needed this until it was priced well and I could try it. I am surprised that each time it cleans it, the amount of dust and debris it picks up. I only have 3 rooms with carpet and it cleans those rooms well, and leaves the carpet lines. The remainder of the house is hardwood floors. The beater bar does not scratch up the floor, which I was concerned about. There are 3 modes which help with battery life. I also have it programmed to stop when battery is low and then return to cleaning once recharged. It does not like small rugs, like in the bathroom. If cleaning then I will pick those up just not to irritate Jaws while it cleans (yes, they ask you to name it). Also the floor fan in one room has a wide base and it wants to climb up that, but I just let it do its thing and make sure the cords are out of the way. It navigates under my couch and chair which is nice to not have to clean that myself. It did go under the bed only because I lifted my bed skirt up one day. I have since left it down while it cleans. If it gets stuck somewhere it does send a notification, if you enable it. Need to watch doors in rooms that it does not inadvertently shut the door while trying to clean by it. It if does do this that room will be very clean when you get home. Need to have an open area for the dock, so plan for that. Comes with boundary strips to keep it out of certain areas while it is mapping your house. It will run over small car toys and it can get the car stuck under it (I was a witness to it, so I paused the vacuum to get the car dislodged). Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. I am amazed how much it picks up every time it cleans. Saves me a lot of time sweeping up the dust on the floors, only to see the dust flying through the air to land somewhere else later. Arizona is known for their dust, so this helps to keep that dust to a minimum when you have the windows open in the winter.

It's excellent! Was skeptical, now very happy
I was skeptical as I did a ton of research before buying this Iq robot andsome of the reviews say it has issues. I have to say, I am much relieved after owning it. It's been totally great And that's saying something as the vacuum we had before was a high end Neato botvac d80 which we had an extended warranty on and we liked very much. This thing is quiet, much quieter than the Neato. It rarely gets stuck on anything ( the neato tended to get stuck semi rarely, but SharkBait gets stuck 10 times less than that. ) Sharkbait has gotten stuck when it got high centered on shoes in my wife's closet and a few other times when things were left out, but even then it usually doesn't get hung up on cords and things. We didn't get the self empty version, but we are fine without it as it saved a good bit of money. It goes over everything twice. The battery life is good. The mapping after a few tries isn't perfect but it's totally usable. We have the map set up for two zones: bedrooms bathrooms and hallway, and a second zone for kitchen dining room and living room. Hair doesn't get tangled in the brush easily but we have three long haired girls in the house hold and the middle of the brush will get a bit of hair in the middle wrapped around. The rest of the hair gets caught in the bin and in the automatic hair cutter part of the dust bin. It's crazy how much dirt it picks up. We have half hardwood and tile and half carpet. Does great on both. It doesn't get stuck on bathroom rugs or going over transitions. I love how it makes straight lines in the carpet. It is very low profile and fits under our bed which was too low for the neato botvac. Cons or suggestions: Being able to make small keep out zones or no go lines on the map would be great. Sometimes the longer golden retriever hair will get stuck in the opening of the dust bin near the hair cutting portion of the bin that runs along the brush. The app could have more functionality. It would be nice to be able to set it to a certain power level in scheduling instead of it just setting itself to normal. ( it has three modes: eco, normal, and max) I think the side brushes would be better if they had little brushes on each side instead of one, like the roomba i7.
