Absolutely Stunning!
My new Samsung screen monitor has been a game changer. Not only for my work productivity but also for my eyesight. Everything is ready to go,right out of the box. I went from having two monitors to One, and I don't miss a thing. I work with different databases and the screen split option is perfect and functional. I can also view more of the documents I'm working on without zooming in and out. The design Of the monitor is nice and sleek. The stand doesn't take up a whole lot of space on my desk and I'm so grateful I no longer have a bunch of ugly cables draping across my desk. The monitors menu (JOG button) is easy to navigate, easy to reach and is also where you'll find the eye saver settings which I highly recommend. Low blue light settings means no more ugly blue blocking glasses & No more daily headaches after working on my computer for several hours. Everyone who has walked into my office compliments the beauty and spectacular screen display this monitor gives. Highly recommend. see the before and after below

A expensive paperweight
The monitor was DOA with constant power cycles. I was planning to return it to walmart but i opted to let samsung do a waranty repair, which ended not working, but they offered to offset what i paid walmart. I would avoid this monitor at all costs. This a apparently common defect with this model

    Good entry to widescreen displays
So far it's been a good experience. The picture is solid, refresh rate is okay, and there is little to no lag on response time. I haven't had issues with the screen turning off like some have said. Long story short I got this on sale on Black Friday and at the price it was ($220), I believe it was totally worth it. If you're getting it for $300 plus it's not a bad option but I'm sure you could find something with better refresh rate and a little bit better picture quality. I use it as my main pc monitor for gaming and it has been solid for that once I played around with settings on both the monitor and my graphics card. I'd give it a 4.2/5

Great functionality built in and works for dual
I bought this to use for multiple purposes, (work purposes mostly though) having Excel, Word, OneDrive, and my Work Browsers open. Great price for it, unfortunately the standard adjustments are very limited. Only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars. Could work better for your situation and also multiple PBP, having like 2 computers open on one side and other on other side. Also has PIP, but I don't use it very much. Would probably work just fine for a Mid-tier ultra wide monitor for gaming, but haven't tried yet.

I love this monitor so much...
I had my monitor for a good amount of time before it's health was jeopardized in an unfortunate incident. It was so good though that I plan to try and get the part I need to fix it and I bring it back to life to join 2 other Samsung monitors currently use.

    Great image, excellent colors
I use the monitor for work. This is a much better option than side by side screens. It's big and the image is outstanding. It works flawlessly. The brightness is excellent. I mounted mine on an arm and that just allows me to set it to my best viewing and thus helping with neck pain.

    The reviews ain't wrong
A bright and wide monitor that lacks a few basics and is unreliable when you need it most. It checks the main boxes I need in a WQHD, but lacks inbuilt speakers. Multi input (2x hdmi+DP) split screen mode are a god-send. Besides the speaker issue, the screen tends to hibernate for long periods when an input device is shut down, sleeps or removed. Repeatedly moving the joy stick does nothing to wake the screen, even though the input device is awake. Besides this annoying quirk and lack of speakers, it's a decently good setup.

    Affordable Quality Display
This is a lot of monitor for the money! Can't believe that a monitor of this size and resolution can be had for this cheap! I use it everyday as an extension of my work laptop. I love that it can display a lot of apps at the same time.

    Good for students
I use this monitor to learn coding. It allows me to open several tabs side by side. It works much better than 2x 24" screens that I use at work. This is the best budget wide monitor I've found after weeks of research. No other monitor comes close to it's cost- performance ratio.

    Excellent for programmers
Great for multi tasking. Fits 2 windows easily and many tabs on the browser or IDE. Though it's very large and that's a con as well as it's not curved.

    One of the best monitors!
I spend a lot of time at my desk editing videos and I always need two monitors. This monitor helped me accomplish that PLUS helped save space on my desk. I always get complimented as well when my friends visit and see it. Its really been great. The double screen function is very helpful. Not to mention the graphics themselves. I love being able to see things clearly and it really helps when editing. I've always been a huge fan of anything Samsung makes. Vacuum, washer and dryer, refrigerator, laptops, phones, TVs, Air Dresser, you name it! I love all the products made by them. I visit their website daily looking for whats new. Sorry, back to the monitor. I love it so much I think Ill probably end up buying another one for my desk at work. Another great thing about this monitor is the price. Very reasonable for the amount of time I spend working with it. I am always looking for a deal and when I bought this I shopped around. I kept coming back to this model because it checked all the boxes. The shipping was super fast and it arrived undamaged. I unboxed it immediately and have been happy ever since. The smart features work fantastic also. I have my phone connected to it. Its connected to my Smart things app so I can control it through there. I can watch TV in high definition. Its great because after editing I like to see what it will look like on the tv. So in summary, go buy this monitor. You'll be happy. Its one of the best monitors out there. Go Samsung! yaaaaaaay

Very Bright, 400 Nits and AMD Sync
i used it with the xbox series x and ps5; i would suggest only using it for the series x as the ps5 only supports 1080p and 4k. good display if you are a player looking for accurate colors, ray tracing, or high quality gaming. for 120fps gaming, i would look elsewhere; however, keep in mind with 120fps gaming, you are sacrificing quality. samsung could have added hdr but chose not to.

A good monitor brought down by a bad stand.
If you're building a monitor at this price point, you have to cut a few corners. The trick is knowing which ones you can cut, and Samsung gets real close here. If you've read the tech specs of the monitor, you know that it has a VA panel. VA panels have traditionally had mediocre viewing angles, and while this one is better than most, monitor placement is still going to be key: You're going to want it where it's far enough back that you're not looking sideways at the edges, and you're going to want it far enough up that you're not looking down at the image. No surprises there, and I'd be a jerk if I took points off for that. We knew what we were getting into here. The problem is the stand. I'm a little bit surprised that Samsung doesn't hype that they've outsourced the stand from Italy, because I'm fairly certain that they've built this stand mostly from limp pasta. The only part that isn't flimsy is the built-in tilt mechanism, which doesn't tilt at all. The stand is so flimsy that a flatulent mouse three rooms over will cause the monitor to violently shake. It's terrible. The tilt mechanism is so stiff that the monitor will perpetually point just a little bit downward, giving your belly button a perfect viewing angle. The monitor has a VESA mount (though the company's web page calls it a 'Vesel' mount, whatever that is), and you're going to want to use it. Even at 34", the display is light enough that even a cheap monitor arm can handle it nicely. A quick aside for those of you who remember your high school Physics classes: Yes, to solve a vibration problem, I just recommended swapping out the packed-in six inch stand for an arm with a moment five or six times that long. It works because the built-in stand is that bad. Well, worse than that, really. The rest of the monitor, though, earns the other three stars. If you can place it well, you'll be rewarded with a good image. Not great-- you didn't pay for great-- but better than what you can expect from the list price. So, the tl;dr-- Buy this monitor if: - Your desk is deep enough that you can move it a bit further from your eyes. - You're not expecting to work side-by-side with someone, particularly when colors matter. - You're willing to drop $30 or so on a monitor arm.

If you're thinking about it just get it! ❤️
I purchased this to use for work. It exceeded my expectations although it is not curved it still has a great viewing angle and can fit a generous amount of information on the screen. No glare or eye irritation after 8 hours of work. Definitely can't beat $249 for this!!!

    Great WFH monitor
It’s been a lifesaver for working from home. My laptop doesn’t have that many ports so it’s nice to have a super wide screen that acts as 2 monitors

Good buy but wait for clearance
I gave this a 4 out of 5 only because at the size that it is it has amazing picture quality. I'm not a big hz gaming guy, but I did drop it because it's not above 75 hz even on the display port. if you like playing switch anf watching YouTube at the same time the picture in picture is pretty nice. I picked mine up for 200 on clearance so if your store has some WAIT! It will go down.

    Perfect monitor for a developer
I can finally say that I've found a monitor that's perfect for my job as a web developer. I've used several different external monitors with my laptop, but all except this 34” Samsung SJ55W ultra-wide have missed the mark in some way. Normal 1080p monitors just couldn't show enough on the screen, causing me to continually flip back and forth between applications. 4K monitors were super-crisp and high resolution, but the font sizes were too small to comfortably read. This Samsung's wide screen and 3440x1440 resolution is just right and has no problem displaying my code editor and a couple of terminals and browsers on the screen at the same time. Another thing I love about this monitor is its non-reflective screen. My desk at work is directly next to a big window, and this caused big problems in the past with major glare on other monitors that had glossy panels. I've never had any trouble seeing my work on this Samsung's screen, even in bright daylight. The monitor offers other features like the ability to display two video inputs/sources at the same time (side-by-side or picture-in-picture) and FreeSync capability, but I've yet to try them. The 75Hz refresh rate is a little higher than the 60Hz most other monitors have, and combined with it's speedy 4ms response time, this would also make a nice gaming monitor. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with using this monitor on a daily basis at work. I've spent a solid month with it now and can't imagine going back to a different monitor. My productivity has really increased now that I'm able to keep all my important applications visible at the same time. Thanks to Samsung for such a great monitor!
