Improve WiFi and I will give 5 stars. I have 5 cameras throughout the house including 2 outside. WiFi is weak but still usable. Increase the subscription video storage time to 30 days and keep it affordable. Overall I like Wyze and intend on purchasing more items for my home.

V3 not working.
I bought 2 of the V3's on pre-order and have had issues with both of them. When you try to view the live stream, the image and clock are stuck at an earlier time.
The Kb/s are changing like it is streaming, but the video never changes.
If you View Playback, the timeline moves like it should, but the video never changes.
Reboots and power cycles don't have any affect.
I applied the new updates today and the app (ios) is up to date. I still have the same problem.
My other 8 Wyze cams (V2 and outdoor) work just fine.

It's about 50 feet from my Wi-Fi and has excellent connectivity. Picture is better than I expected. Great camera for the value. 5 cameras and a doorbell. Thanks WYZECurt

The frame and casing of the V1 through the V3 are fully plastic and seem quite easy to break. I would like to see a "rugged" option to purchase that would be metal casing and of course waterproof like the V3 is already I believe. And some kind of hardware encryption for the SD card or a way for all my local cams to save on my LAN to a formatted partition of a hard drive on my desktop. Or something similar. I've had two cams total in my WYZE history end up stolen and of course they take the SD card not even knowing its in the cam or maybe they do. But they easily just got all 16 GB of my continuous recording. Which should not be that easily compromised guys. And also the WYZE Live View website has been out for a minute now; where are the upgrades? And please figure something out with Amazon AWS with the live feed time out. I believe thats the main point of the site is to view the live feeds. But they quickly time out. I do love the pop out view feature for the live feeds. Except if i use an extension on my browser to keep the tab alive and refreshed so the feeds stay alive it of course closes the pop out windows.michaelcordell

I now have 9 cams covering most rooms in the house as well as 3 cams outside. My latest addition - I had built our 'outside' cat a house made from a large plastic storage container , flooring of carpet scraps and insulation around it, plus 60 watt bulb (not LED) inside. However other critters ( local cats, raccoons, etc) seem to want inside also, so now she has her very own Wyze cam inside her house. I can monitor 'who is home'. My son and I also use "sharing", so when one of us is away, the other can monitor all cams. I highly recommend the Wyze cam (My experience is limited to the V3 model)Curt

I would have to restart my phone two or three times to get an Internet connection to use the Wyze app. I found out it was an Internet connection problem when I installed Wyze app on my computer yesterday. Now I am having no problems with the app on my computer and I am seeing all my three cameras live without getting disconnected. So everything is great! If you are having problems with the Wyze app it might be that your phone's carrier is not connected to the Internet.Unknown

I recently have been replacing the version 2 cameras with the version 3's and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Literally the difference is night and day. The price has not gone up, but the quality of the images, especially at night, is fantastic. Only have 1 more to replace. Thanks Wyze!Boboskee

The water resistance let's me put it outside where there's no window sills and covers my home's blind spot where I've had several break-ins. The installation screws seem to be the wrong size but the camera itself is wonderful.Mike C.

They are so clear, especially at night in color. I opted in on the cloud service because for just a few cams it's cheaper than all other cloud services and I can't explain how easy they are to install. Highly recommended and I'm definitely going to get the Wyze doorbell when it comes out.Ron B.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/23/2020An improvement over v2The v3 camera is an improvement over v2. I replaced 5 of my 9 cameras with v3 cameras. I have 2 pans overlooking open areas and 2 v2's looking in my snake tank that I didn't need to upgrade. The improved quality, night vision, starlight mode are awesome and easily worth the upgrade and a no brainier if this is your first camera. They're the same price as the v2 but you get more. I also put a v3 overlooking my driveway using starlight mode and it's amazing at night. My only problem with the v3 is that I was using 128GB microsd cards in my v2's and they worked flawlessly no issues however in the 6 v3's that I have only 2 of them worked with the 128GB microsd card. If you're good at saving clips right away and don't need all that space then it's 5 stars. I never used the USB port at the back of the v2's so maybe that might be something else to think about. My wyze sense is plugged into one of the pans. Now they need to upgrade the pans.Unknown

It's not under anything, and exposed on a window frame. It hasn't had any electrical issues. My only complaint would be that I cannot got the life of me get the settings done so that it's not too sensitive at night and sensitive enough in the day... also it doesn't pick up on people at all, only cars zipping by... and at night, any/every particle of dust (but no animals or people, which I'd like to see). So that's my take on it so far. I'm hoping I can get it dialed in eventually to where it's perfect, but for now it's pretty decent and the picture is downright fantastic. No complaints on anything except the sensitivity issues and it recognizing people and animals... cars are great but dust is not!Jesse
