I love the new
I love the new magic keyboard. It's great for whenever I'm doing school work. I find typing on here very smooth compared to my other laptop. I take this with me whenever I'm traveling because of how travel friendly it is. It is on the heavier side but that's fine.

Broke in 2months. I need a replacement.
Within approximately 2 months of buying the metal part of the case cut me because the section around the charging point broke and leaves a sharp edge. Waste of my $212 because I cannot use it. (Please note it has never fallen or hit by anything.) Walmart, please do the honorable thing and send me a replacement. Thank you in advance.

I am a taller person and I can't adjust it back far enough. I also miss the old keyboard where I could flip it around and use it as a tablet with my pencil. If you want to lay it flat and hand write on it you have to completely remove it from the keyboard. This does not make sense. The case is also hard to open. If you have any strength or dexterity issues you might not be able to open it.miclynrowe

Keyboard is very good though, easy to use and navigate. Tilt options for the iPad are also acceptable. An option to consider in the future would be a way to fold the keyboard back so you can use the iPad in a vertical fashion. Overall it fulfills the majority of the needs for better utilization of the iPad.Kimberly

This Magic Keyboard is much better in pretty much every way. It has *much* better key switches that actually feel nice to type on, it's backlit making it much nicer to use in the dark, and the trackpad is really decent for its limited size. My only complaints are that it's quite heavy, and the material shows grime really easily (similar to the other Smart Keyboard Folio). I really wish Apple would make a version of this keyboard with either a leather or fabric exterior. If you pay the full $300 MSRP for this keyboard, it may not be worth that price, but at a discount this is a very useful and well-made accessory that has genuinely improved how I use my iPad.Alan

The typing experience and the backlit keys are an improvement from the older gen keyboard. The trackpad is smooth and it contains a lot of gestures that are used on the MacBooks. Overall this purchase was amazing and hopefully a newer version is released that allows for an easier writing experience for use with the Apple PencilKenny

I use my iPad 100x more that I have the keyboard. It's easier to get my work done and it's much easier to actually completely leave my laptop at home when I'm on the go. It is also an effective stand for table top or your lap while sitting or reclining. The illuminated keys are fantastic. Typing is easy. Very easy to pop the iPad in and out of the keyboard as well. Battery life continues to be very good even when using the keyboard. One thing which isnt perfect is the display angle. Apple could have give a bit more range or motion but overall the keyboard is worth the premium price. This was $100 less than Apple ($200 vs $300) on Walmarts website. Same product, same quality.believeyoume

The keyboard feel is much better than the squishy cloth one of the earlier keyboard. The overall folded up unit with iPad is very compact, but for lots of use cases you will still want something like the folio cover because you will be removing the keyboard often. The stand feature is very nice. It is limited to landscape only, which means some older apps will want to be sideways. The keyboard and trackpad work very well compared to separate devices and having to set them up. There is no software or Bluetooth to setup for this at all. Dislikes: no dedicated shortcut keys like other made for iPad keyboards, there are shortcuts, but they are secret. The main drawback is the cost, the recent price drop puts this at the top of whats reasonable to pay, it was too expensive before.Mark
