I'm impressed
Optimums modem/router kept cutting out on us. I couldn't figure out why because we got the 1 gig. So we called optimum and they said we needed a faster router. Why? Who knows because frontier never done us like that. So we went out and bought quite an expensive piece of modem! Although, it's worth every penny. I tested our speed and it's “fast” my 5g is “super fast”. My WiFi never goes out but maybe once. So I'm super happy with my purchase.

NOT WORKING AT ALL
This product does not even pop up on my network to access the settings. I have reset it 100 times and keep trying when it finally sows up on the my network list, I do the whole set up but it stopped after this step. Then disconnects and stops working, and does not show up on the network preferences again. This is so frustrating. Tried the WPS button, with ethernet cable. Just disappointed. I had such high hopes.

    I bought this because my modem just stopped working after ten years so I figured I'll just buy one that has both modem and router in one. It gives my internet speed its full potential. Price is affordable at Walmart than Amazon. I bought it for $194.00. Speed is up to 800mbps. Sleek look to it is a plus. Also not too bulky. Setup was quick just follow the instructions included. I have Spectrum and it's fully compatible with my service. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high speed internet at a reasonable price.

    Not worth the money or problems.
    This is the 2nd one I have got in 6mo both went bad, Netgear says it's xfinity, I have reset and restarted the device and been in the IT field for 12 years. I will no longer buy Netgear products. Netgear support is a joke and from India! After a reboot it's good for 15 then nothing.

    Good upgrade
    Having problems with service provider equipment. Streaming services constantly stalling and video cameras taking too long to wake. The Night Hawk was easy to set up and fixed all Internet issues immediately. Using it for over a week now and not one hiccup. This is a great purchase and upgrade from standard equipment. We have normal household usage and no gamers in the house, so I cannot speak to that usage. Glad we purchased!

    Solved my internet issues
    I'm very happy with my new Nighthawk router/modem. I had been having so much trouble with the one provided by my internet service to the point where it was going out every day multiple times a day. One day it went out for good and they estimated 3 weeks until they could solve my issue, so I went ahead and purchased this router the same day at the store. I haven't had a second of trouble since and my wifi is much faster! I am so impressed at how much more reliable my internet has been. There hasn't been any lags or constant buffering as I stream shows which was a major issue for me before. The whole router was insanely easy to set up and the app is so incredibly convenient! I spent more time waiting on hold to register this with my internet provider than I did to drive to the store and back and set this up. Oh, and it was listed for $15 cheaper online than in the store and Walmart happily price matched for me. Overall I saved about $50 from what this same router would have cost me through Amazon or Best Buy!

    Excellant product!
    Our router/modem is amply powerful enough to provide a wifi signal throughout my house. Strong, steady signal. The Nighthawk app does not work too well for me. It will not update the network, which concerns me down the road. Right now it works great!

    Second great product!
    This is a replacement for a Netgear Wifi unit, which made set up familiar and easy. This unit has performed without a flaw, just as the first unit. Software is great and easy to use. I did have to read the instructions to turn on Wifi but everything else went great.

    New Modem for the Win!
    I got this secondhand from a buyer that never used it and it's actually been the best upgrade I've ever invested in. No more blackouts, no more lags, and the whole house is now wifi enabled.

    Acceptable Wi-Fi Extender for Home
    Selected the Netgear WiFi Mesh Extender after a good experience with a Mesh System set up for our house of worship. Set-up was a bit wonky, but was able to set it up not using the WPS button. One issue is the problem with us folks who have red-green color weakness. Hard to tell whether the LED indicator showed best, good, or poor connection. Has worked well since then.
